As soon as you enter Riad O2 you will be seduced by the peacefulness and sobriety of the house. Fatiha and Hassan will welcome you warmly with mint tea and Moroccan delights. You may rest on the patio; in the shade of the banana tree or in the living room by the fire place. We have a large roof terrace ideal for sunbathing; have an intimate dinner under the berber tent or admiring the view over Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. Our heated and indoor Jacuzzi pool is fantastically refreshing in the summer and very relaxing in the winter as is our hammam where you can have a nice massage. Rachida our in house cook will prepare for you lovely traditional Moroccan meals while Aziz our chauffeur will bring you to the best hidden gems of the surrounding Marrakech. As payment method no Credit Cards are accepted. Guarded parking is available just 2 minutes walk from the Riad. Additional Information; Children age 12 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number. In the heart of the medina in the delightful traditional quarter of Sidi Ben slimane. Located in the north part of the medina just 5 minutes walk from the souk and 15 minutes walk from djema el fna square.

My boyfriend and I picked this hotel as a more luxurious end to our holiday in marrakech, having seen its wonderful reviews all over the internet (aside from the location) and seen the photos of the terrace and jacuzzi. In order to find the hotel be prepared to get angry with the locals. on leaving the taxi we were mobbed by butch looking locals fighting over us and our luggage to show us where tho hotel was. after agreeinga a price of 20DHMs with one to show us and firmly holding onto our own luggage he showed us quickly where the riad was and then demanded 20Euros and got rather forceful. essentially the riad is not hard to find, had there been a map on the website. Once inside the hotel we were greated warmly and shown our room. We were soon disappointed by the building works on the terrarce - including builders and building materials strewn around and were only told once in the jacuzzi that it wasnt working and would not heat up or bubble. Neither of these flaws were we informed of on arrival. The room was very pleasantly decorated and air conditioning a great relief from the outside temperature of 45degrees. However the bed that shouldve been a double was two single beds pushed together - and this was the same in the other available room that we checked (also listed as a double). The receptionist was polite and apologetic but was not allowed to offer any kind of compensation or good-will for the building works around. On the whole it is a nice riad, if it was all working, but very disappointing at this time!

Riad 02 was a wonderful place to stay to give us a real feel of being in Morocco. The staff could not have been more helpful or more welcoming. Each room is different and ours looked over the beautiful courtyard in the centre of the riad. The moroccan lamps,central water feature and whitewashed walls inside the riad are such a wonderful surprise after walking through the narrow medina streets. Meals are served wherever you want to eat - on the terrace in the morning sun, or by the fire on a chilly evening. Eat in the riad one evening for a taste of wonderful, genuine Moroccan cooking. We would certainly recommend this riad to anyone who wants a holiday to remember.
