Hotel Birke in Kiel on Hasseldieksdamm is a privately run hotel with complete guest-service. The hotel is situated in a convenient location yet surrounded by greenery, only around 10 minutes by car from the centre of the state capital of Kiel. Pleasant woods can be found directly behind the hotel which are just perfect for short or long walks. The thatched farmhouses in vicinity reflect the typical atmosphere of Schleswig-Holstein and convey a rural impression. The charming surrounding country side is ideal for excursions with the hotels bicycles, for jogging or for golfing on the nearby courses. Traditional harbour festivals in the Baltic seaside resorts around the Kiel Bay await the guests with their maritime ambience. We offer: 82 rooms, equipped with modern, comfortable and pleasant furnishings, all appointed with shower/WC, telephone, radio,TV and minibar. The bathrooms all have a hair-dryer and vanity mirror.
