"Usually on business travel, I avoid returning to my room since most are dreadfully boring and unhospitable. The Riverwalk Vista was a delightful change and I found myself returning as often as I could in order to enjoy the beauty and comfort. I loved my visit and if I come back to San Antonio, will surely stay here. The staff also were perfectly helpful and made every effort (even after checkout) to make me comfortable. "

Charming, spacious, friendly, quiet, relaxing, and convenient to sites. I loved this hotel. It was convenient to the sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. They served a breakfast that was good. They also have cookies or desserts at 3 and wine at 5 if you want to partake. The room was spacious, the bed was great and the small stocked refrigerator was a plus.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, steps (literally) from the famous Riverwalk. Lots of nice little touches, like the complimentary wine in the evening, and the collection of antique quilts. The street noise (price you pay for being handy to everything) was minimal. STaff were great! Regretted only being able to stay for one night, hope we have a chance to come back.

The RiverWalk Vista was a great choice for us. We loved every little detail about our stay. And it was the little details that makes this place so great.

The Staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Breakfast each morning was great. It was just enough to take us through to lunch.
Afternoon Cookies and Evening Glass of Wine were an added surprise that made our stay that much more enjoyable.

The view was great and the was bed comfy. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. Just steps from the RiverWalk and a couple of blocks from the Alamo.

Because it's an old building and it's right on the street, there is a noise factor. The Vista helps out with a white noise machine, but there is still some street noise.

Our stay was perfect! We are already talking about going back and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

My new husband and I stayed here for two nights following our wedding (we're from San Antonio). Wonderfully historic hotel with modern conveniences. It is certainly is nice change from the usual S.A. downtown hotels - RV is cozy and without all the fluff and exorbitant pricing. We stayed in a corner room, which was lovely, but wasn't good with all the traffic passing by us. Late night noise from a next door club/bar kept us up one night, but it was relatively quiet the next. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, service and decent hotel prices.

My husband and I really enjoyed our recent stay at the Riverwalk Vista. The location is fabulous, with Riverwalk access right across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel, and we appreciated how the history of the building was incorporated into the decor. There was definitely traffic noise, but nothing the sound machines in the room couldn't cover up. Our AC had some issues--it cooled well, but left the room a little humid. Overall, we really liked the hotel and would certainly stay there again.
