Rookery Hall is set in 38 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside, and yet conveniently located close to the M6, Crewe, Manchester and Liverpool. The Hall was built in 1816 and today is a fully refurbished country house mansion. As you pass through the wrought iron gates beside the lodge, and sweep down the long drive between the lawns to the house, you could almost be forgiven for momentarily thinking you had somehow been transported to France. In fact, with its mellow sandstone walls, polished mahogany panelling, ornamental ceilings, deep-buttoned leather, sumptuous sofas, rich brocades, and stained glass, the very fabric of the building radiates warmth and comfort and style. Enjoy fine cuisine in the award winning restaurant offering superb cuisine made from locally produced produce and ingredients and an exquisite collection of wines. If you are booking a bed and breakfast rate where dinner is not included in your package, please consider your dining arrangements at the time of booking. We advise that if you do wish to eat in our main hotel restaurant early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment however the Brasserie restaurant is available. Mixed feelings about this hotel. Although undoubtedly aiming at the upper end of the market in terms of the location, building, furnishings, price and facilites facilities etc, my experience with the staff varied from helpful and professional to blunt and unfriendly and a bit jobs worth.

The Hotel was lovely staff friendly especially at health club, the room was very nice.The food was very disapointing not much choice and very expensive also very small portions, breakfast was particularly badi had a very long wait for over coated inedible food.I would recommend you to stay their but eat in nantwich town

The hotel room itself was of a good standard however the bathroom was of a poor state, i.e mould on the tiles and sealant around the bath and generally looking rather tired. I approach the reception staff about this but they could not move me to another room as they were fully booked, however their general attitude towards me was that it was going to be refurbished soon so it didn't matter, If I am paying over £180 a night for a room I expect it to be of good repair and I should be pre warned that it needs a refurb. In conclusion if I had know about the condition of the bathroom I would not have booked it and its certainly not woth £180 a night!

I had expected so much from what I have heard of the food I was a bit disappointed. Good, but not great. As the food was not via Late Rooms it was full price so not sure this was value for money.

Eveything about this hotel is spot on - Perfect spot, Food limited menu but excellent quality. Staff very helpful and freindly. Lovely place to escape to.

I found Rookery Hall very disappointing, a number of minor issues made my stay tiresome rather than relaxing: the staff, though very friendly were mostly young and inexperienced, lacking the ability to answer the most basic questions. The phones weren't answered between 6.30 and 8.30 pm meaning that I was not able to communicate with the hotel in an emergency situation which arose. The internal phone to the front desk from my room wasn't answered after 11 pm. The free internet connection was the slowest I have used in over a decade. The pool opened at 6.30am which is great for people like me with an early start (and the reason I chose this hotel), however, the sauna wasn't on, the jacuzzi was tepid, there were no towels left out, nor staff on hand to give towels out, which were necessary as shampoo + toiletries were rationed in the room, (not being replaced once they were used). The spa area, and relaxation room are wonderful, and the staff very friendly,however the facial and massage I had were very mediocre, and shorter in time than advertised.
