stay at royal holidaythe owner of this hotel is really a big cheat.there is no free airport pickup.there are no cabs at the hotel.management is really very bad,and trying to grab money by telling extra charges to customers.its really verybad.shame on its part.

great hotel, get what you pay for. good location and friendly staff. air con box was VERY noisy, kind of like having the titanic sink in your room. apart from that great stay.

Once again, I chose this hotel on the basis of reviews that had been posted (at the time it was ranked 7th), I am slightly dubious...........If you want value for money - this is for you- as Delhi is clearly an expensive place to stay and there seems a big jump between 2* and 3* and 3* and 5*. Ear plugs are recommended as this isnt the quietest place in the city but you are just round the corner from Karol Bagh market, so for some this will be a good location.The free local pick up applies to international arrivals only (although you are only told this when you send details of your (domestic) flight through. On arrival, I had to ring the hotel to find out where the taxi was - it did arrive but took about 30 mins .The hotel rooms are a good size but the bathrooms let the place down - they are in need of a refurb and could be cleaner. The waiting staff are very good but I think this is generally the case in India.Breakfast is included in the price, although fairly basic.The lift broke down when I was there (this apparently is a regular event) and I had to climb out of it !!! Also, when shown to my room and I went to close the door, the room had been decorated and the paint was still wet (I have left my fingerprints, I'm afraid). Despite these things, I was still charged the full rate!!! Also, at the time of writing the exchange rate is approx 72 / 73 rupees but the hotel quotes an exchange rate of 80 rupees when paying your bill - regardless whether you pay by cash or card - a rip off!The hotel clearly have strong links with a local tour operator/travel agent (Abyss travel ?) and there is a hard sell on tours etc which are overpriced- you're much better priced to arrange these yourself.
