Rudding Park's award winning resort is just three miles south of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, yet within easy reach of the bustling cities of York and Leeds. Voted one of the World's top 30 luxury hotels in the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards 2009. Overlooking the rhododendron filled gardens, Rudding Park's contemporary accommodation provides all the facilities expected by today's guests. The open fireplace and fresh flowers in the reception area reflect the warm welcome for which Rudding Park is renowned. The contemporary bedrooms provide all the comforts of an award winning hotel, while the 2 AA rosette Clocktower Restaurant and Bar offer something for all tastes, with the emphasis firmly on fresh local ingredients. The distinguished golf course architect, Martin Hawtree, designed Rudding Park's 18 hole golf course to run through the magnificent 18th century parkland, as well as the more recent development of the 6 hole short course. You may be aware that Rudding Park has exciting plans for a new development which include 34 additional bedrooms, a spa, gymnasium and even a private cinema. The build is now under way for the bedroom extension and is due to be completed by November 2010. Although the building work will be in the vicinity of the hotel bedrooms, we are working as hard as possible to ensure that we minimise disturbance to our guests throughout this time. If during your stay, you feel that you would like to talk to somebody with regard to the extension, please ask for the Duty Manager who will do their utmost to assist you.

Business dinner & stay overThe service at the hotel is first class. I parked in the first car park, which is a little way away from the Hotel reception. Whilst one member of staff showed me to my room, another took my keys, brought the car round and delivered my bags to me. all without asking. The room was superb; very clean and comfortable.I was attending a dinner there and I must say tht the food and service was excellent.

Friendly staffed hotelI found this hotel lived up to all the positive comments I had found on the internet.All of the staff we met were very polite, friendly and helpful with the Reception staff handling of a small problem of our dog (we hadn't directly informed the hotel that we were bringing a dog although we had made a general enquiry that pets were allowed) being quickly, efficiently and satisfactorily resolved. It may be worth the hotel noting of their website that, although pet friendly, advance notice of the intention to bring a dog is necessary to ensure that the appropriate room(s) are available.Of the slightly less than excellent ratings that I have given - a minor point re. our room was that no fridge was available within the room, which was a minor disappointment for a 4 star hotel (although, on the plus side, this meant that there was no mini-bar either).As we had a dog with us and didn't want to leave him in our room, we couldn't make use of the bar and/or restaurant for evening meals but, instead, took items from the bar menu and ate in the Reception area. I therefore feel that I cannot give full ratings regarding the food although all the meals we did have were excellent.

Wow!!!I was absolutely charmed by this place. Set in beautiful grounds, it's a little peace of heaven. As I stepped out of my car, I was met by a porter who used my name and took all our luggage to our room. On asking if we could leave my son's insulin somewhere cool, a fridge was fetched for us. I never had to say my name to anyone - all the staff knew it. Service was impeccable and friendly. It felt like being a house guest in some beautiful mansion. I could go on about the seven rabbits who played on the grounds outside our room or the bottle of water that was thoughtfully left by the side of each bed at night or... but you get the picture. I've stayed in many hotels on business and leisure and this offered the best service I have ever found. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A STAY TOO SHORTwe arrived later than expected due to a stressful weekend elsewhere. within a short space of time that stress began to fade. the care and attention given by all the staff was brilliant! the decor and ambience of the bar, restaurant, and other areas was a delight - relaxing and comfortable without pretentions. the food on offer was interesting and varied and we enjoyed an extremely good meal which we felt was not over priced. Breakfast was fab if a little too large. thank you to all staff who made our very short stay so memorable. Heres to the next time.

Customer Service - second to none!A fabulous hotel - nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff - a smile from every member of staff we came across. Lovely surroundings and very peaceful, idealy located for both Harrogate and the nearby yorkshire towns and cities. We will return and would highly recommend. We have stayed in some very nice hotels but I have to say that this hotel has to be the best on good old fashioned customer service - top marks.

We had a really lovely stopover at Rudding Park and felt it was real value for money. My husband was a little disappointed there was no mini bar in the room (we have a 2 year old so couldnt really sit in the bar!) but room service ws reasonable and no problem at all. Also we could not find any temperature controls in the room so had the window open during the night but again it wasnt a problem.

excellent deal at an excellent hotelTruly wonderful room and very helpful and friendly staff. The Â£70 per night deal we got was superb and well worth every penny. It is not a building with character, but a very pleasent atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay

this was a re-visit to Rudding Park and was as good as my first. The service from all members of staff exceed expectations. The presentation and quality of everything from rooms to food is excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The front of house staff were excellent and immediately made both my wife and i feel very welcome. The whole event was a fantastic experience and we are definitley going back - and very soon.
