Very noisy neighbors. I would suggest rooms be set aside for people that are there for other reasons than to gamble and those without young children.

This hotel/casino is the best we have experienced anywhere. Staff courteous. Buffet outstanding ($11 per person). There is also a shuttle to/from strip if you like crowds and more famous casinos. Clean, very, very comfortable beds. We will stay here again whenever we are in Vegas.

I used to work for Sams Town years ago and liked the way it was ran. I decided to stay there for my vacation and was very pleased. The room was clean and pretty and had a great view. The pool was nice, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast buffet. We saw a picture of waffle on wall advertising the buffet and it looked great. When we went to buffet there werent any waffles and the pancakes were cold and hard. They needed soft butter instead of hard cubes. The drink service was slow, we were half way finished before we got our drinks. My husband got very ill after eating there he said the sasuage tasted really bad. I didnt have any so I didnt get sick.but he spent the next three days in the hotel bathroom. I have heard the other buffets are good just stay away from the breakfast it is nasty. I used to eat at Willy and Joses when I lived in Vegas and loved it. I was sad I didnt get a chance to eat there this time because my husband was to ill to go out.

We booked our vacation at the last minute and were looking to keep costs reasonable despite the cost of last minute air fare. This hotel was a great deal and still was a very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of food options to choose from. I didn't take the shuttle to the stip but I appreciated that they had this available and might use it another time. Staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. I don't know how they keep it so nice when they have such low rates! Only down side was that we had no place to store our electronics when we wanted the room to be cleaned (laptop, etc.). I ended up asking security to hold onto things for us. They said ok but it was definately something they weren't prepared for. I recommend they put good size safes in all the rooms or else get some safes at the front desk.

Staff, cinema, elevators, light/water fountain show, McDonald's. Pool area confusing and perhaps closed, maintenance work, lack of directional/inform signage. Hotel was clean with nice and helpful staff. Franchise restaurants were a huge plus for a budget stay, other better eating options were also available.Water fountain / light show with animitronics was very nice. When I tried to use pool the card did not work and there was no pool times listed on the pool hours sign : { During my stay the hotel was very convienent with walmart located across the street. I recommend this hotel for anyone going to Vegas.

Sam's town was awesome so long as you have money; the staff was extremely friendly up until the money runs out. The hotel its self has everything that you would want to buy though, and a restarant in the hotel which stays open twenty four hours a day. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL! They don't have the starch feeling of most hotels, they actually feel like a home. Despite the massive casino on the lobby floor, Sam's Town is actually a really good place to take your family. The buffet is, mediocre, they give you alot of food for a pretty good price, only it's not the best tasting. There are fabulous buffets in Vegas, don't waste your time in this one. Also, transportation out to sams town is outrageous. Don't take a cab, or shuttle! Take the 108 from the Airport to the Hilton, cross the street and go to the rivera and take the Sam's Town shuttle. You will save much needed money on cab drivers who will get you lost, and Airport shuttles that take FOREVER to come. Use the Duce! 5 dollar 24hr pass, it will get you everywhere you want to go. And belive me you will need it staying at Sam's Town because it's pretty far from the strip to walk anywhere, and paying a cab will get expensive FAST!

A great place to stay for a great price! The swimming pool is on the small side. This is a clean and friendly place at a great price. Lots of choices of places to eat, be sure to get your players club card for discounts at the buffet. You can't go wrong staying here.
