General Description

Located in Piazzale Roma, it is the only hotel in Venice which can be reached by car. It overlooks the Grand Canal and it is easily reachable from the station (1 stop by boat) and from the airport (15 minutes by bus). 100 metres away there is the hotel Annex, Residence Parisi, which is a first category property, modern in style, with large and spacious rooms and bathrooms equipped for disabled. Check-in/out and breakfast is served at the main building where a porter is always available to escort guests to the Annex. 3-storey, typical Venetian palace in keeping with the surroundings. Lobby is medium in size with a comfortable seating area. There are rugs on the marble floor and decoration on the walls, the ceiling shows the wooden beams and the whole area, in which the colour blue prevails, and looks quite elegant. No restaurant. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and presents the same style as the lobby and reception area. Rooms vary in size and are tastefully decorated in Venetian style. Both rooms and bathrooms are in good condition and they offer all the modern comforts including soundproofed windows. Some rooms enjoy a romantic view of the Grand Canal and can be reserved, depending on availability, at an extra supplement. 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 12 kms to the nearest airport (marco polo), Close to the station (santa lucia).

We were not pleased with our standard room. The room we had was much smaller. The sheets and the bed were very uncomfortable and the bathroom and shower were more like you would find in a travel trailer. The parking was right at the hotel and we did have a view of the canal (and the bus parking lot) We would not stay there again, we were very disappointed.

The hotel is located on the grand canal very close to bus, rail, rental car and water taxi locations. We stayed in a satellite location that was great. Very modern and spacious room.

Looks bad from the outside but the rooms were clean. It was a good location near the bus station and the train station. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. The dayshift employees were very helpful but nightshift needed to smile. A bit on the high side cost wise. Had a great time in Venice.
