I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto. It is right in the middle of the downtown area. Close to the subway, the streetcar, the main strip "Yonge Street", and a couple of blocks away from some of the hottest bars and clubs. The hotel is beautiful and the area is very safe. The pool area and the fitness center are state of the art. I was so excited to workout on the high tech machinery. The food in the area is a bit expensive, but conveniently across the street is a blue and white food truck which serves chicken hotdogs with fries for $4.50, and much more. The food from the truck is very good and I ate there most days. I will be coming back to the Sheraton Centre next year for Caribana, there customer service is great.

The hotel is currently under renovations and elevators are not available on the first floor. You have to trek up the escalator with your bags to catch the second floor elevator. Gym priviliges are not included in the base price. If you want to work out, be prepared to pay extra. The room was nice and hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

We arrived on a very busy day. We waited at the curb for a few minutes but nobody approached us or helped us at all. We moved the luggage into the lobby ourselves. No valet parking people came either, but it turned out okay to us because you can park across the street (city hall underground parking garage) yourself for $ per day, vs $ valet parking in the hotel. Hotel is connected to underground shopping plazas, underground parking garage, Bay dept store, Eaton Centre, so it is very convenient. (We walked to CN tower without surfacing at all) Fire alarm went off on our last night and it was annoying. Swimming pool is free but not the gym. The lobby is huge and kids can play chess there. Food and other service is very pricey. Free WiFi in the lobby only. Nice and quiet AC. Rooms are clean. Staff are polite. You can't beat Sheraton's pillows and matresses.

Location. The room was filthy and the plumbing was broken. The room had clearly never been cleaned with more than a swipe of a rag. There were clumps of dust in the corners, on the vents and the back of the toilet. I used a towel to touch the light switches which were so encrusted with grime. There was a smear of dirt on the bathroom door. When I washed my hands, the broken pipes under the sink sprayed my legs and feet, soaking them. The walls were so thin, I was awakened by the knocking on my next door neighbor's door by the maintenance man there to fix their plumbing.

Great hotel! Great location! Everything walkable! Yorkville, ROM, Eaton Center, Chinatown, Lakefront, John street to entertainment district, Movie theaters and live theaters! Only transportation needed going to Casa Loma. Only negative is free computers in lobby but at times they were dominated by little kids being brought down by parents and allowed to play games on the machines. They should be restricted to adults who need to do business there.

The fan in the bathroom runs all day long. Must shut the bathroom door so that it cannot be heard. Big American style hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished but not exceptional. The noise from the fan in the bathroom, which runs all day long and cannot be controlled in the room, is annoying. I presume.

View of the park. Impersonal. Although well located with all facilities to hand the hotel suffers from complacency when dealing with guests as individuals. The rooms are adequate but seriously require update or re-painting at least. Heating within the room was at an unalterable 18 degrees due to a malfunction known to the management.

Awesome location! The connection to the PATH system was great and very handy, and the club level breakfast was top notch. Our only complaint was the Hot tub wasn't big enough for all of the people who wanted to use it at night. But other than that, it was a great stay!

The king sized bed was comfortable, maid service was fantastic as was front desk and everyone we asked questions. The Sheraton centre was in a great location for shopping as well as any other downtown activities. Walk to the CN tower, or walk in the underground walkway to the Eaton's centre. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The Sheraton Centre of Toronto is ideally located in the center of town, close to shopping, theatre, baseball, The Art Gallery of Ontario. It is a streetcar away from The Beaches. (The ride alone is worth it.) I enjoyed the Blue Jays Game one day, the Art Gallery of Ontario another day, and a visit to The Beaches for a delicious brunch on Sunday. I cannot think of anything I would change about my stay at The Sheraton Centre. I will definitely use Orbitz to organize my next trip to Toronto and The Sheraton Centre.

The hotel has a good location in Toronto downtown. Walking distance to many attractions, e.g. CN Tower, and to the subway station. The room is clean and neat with a view from a high-rise building if you are lucky. It would be even nicer if the weather is better (not so windy).

The hotel was in a good location, but it was loud. From the North side of the hotel you could hear the rings of a bell tower. On the South side of the hotel, your hear doors slamming and street noise. We changed our room 3 times. The last time we just gave up. The rooms need to be updated. A/C in some rooms make a rattling noise and some of the showers do not drain well. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Room size, decor, bathroom, amenities, absence of WiFi, and $15 wired network access. After decades of service, the Sheraton Center remains Toronto's. Small rooms with unspeakably ugly decor vie with poorly configured bathrooms and dark showers for special honors. But if you use the internet, either bring lots of extra cash ($15/day, wired only) or get ready to do without. No mini bars. few towels.

Check in process was frankly underwhelming. After lady lady tried to upsell us a king sized bed for $20 extra a night (i mean really, are times that bad?) things were complicated by the fact that I booked it under my girlfriend's name, but wanted to apply my Starwood gold preferred guest account because of the status etc. We were put in a small queen bed room on a non-starwood floor that was functional, but tired. I also was informed at check in that i wouldnt get starwood points as i booked through orbitz. And finally the hotel charged my card when they shouldnt, which i had to enquire/raise to Orbitz staff who were very helpful in resolving. On the flip side the location was great and the hotel itself well catered to large groups. Parking staff very kindly pointed out that parking with them was a rip-off (eventhough the same unhelpful lady at check in tried to sell me on their parking as well)

Great location, close to everything! $12.00 beers in the bar. Very nice location, if you need to be downtown, $40.00 for valet parking, $12.00 beers. $57.00 for 2 sandwiches and 2 Pepsi's, I think they go a little overboard in their charges for items, and they say it goes mostly to taxes, B.S. they charge you that because they know you are a hostage in that hotel, no convince stores near there. Great hotel, don't get me wrong, just try not to order to much there, especially room service.

It was jmy first time staying at the Sheraton Centre Toronto hotel.. Everything was perfect. Beautiful hotel, restaruants, all connected to the PATH, EATON CENTRE. CN TOWER IS WALIKNG DISTANCE. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, so it is close to everything. I had asked for a room AWAY from the elevators and on an upper floor . I got an excellent view of Downtown Toronto from my hotel room. There were some great reasonably priced restaurants that were walking distance from the hotel. Overall it is an excellent hotel and would recommend to friends and stay again.

The location was fantastic - easy access to the PATH and subway system, beautiful room views, clean and safe! Air conditioner didn't seem to cool down as well, bathroom fan needs to be upgraded. For the business traveler, a family, or just a romantic evening for two, this hotel is for you! The cost (through Priceline) was right, the room was spotless and had a fantastic view. I could not have felt any more comfortable in my own home. Well-worth the stay for anyone!

The staff was very efficient in general. The concierge directed us to the market but it was closed that day. This hotel tries and it doesn't stop trying. At every opportunity, they respond with efficiency and charm and care. What is particularly notable about that is that they don't have to try because the hotel is very nice. But you can feel that they go the extra mile. Even the cleaning woman was very nice and gracious.

This well located 4 star hotel offers the best pool and exercise facilities in downtown Toronto, and is one of the few facilities with parking. Downsides to the hotel include extreme understaffing at the front desk (3 stations for 2 towers containing more than 800 rooms), heavy tourist and convention orientation and frequent overbooking.

My family had a fantastic time in Toronto, thanks much in part to our stay at the Sheraton. We researched online A LOT before selecting this hotel, and it paid off. We arrived at about 8am, and asked for an early check in, or if they could maybe just hold our bags. The gentleman at the service desk, [...], was able to get us into a room immediately! Can you believe it! He even recommended a great place to eat breakfast - the Sunset Grille. We had a view of the north end of town, so City Hall was right out of our window - a spectacular view of the hall and Nathan Phillips Square. This worked out well for us since we cared more about actually seeing the south side of town in person and could care less if it was out our window - especially since we were out and about all day for 5 days.We were able to walk everywhere, and I am talking about me, my wife, and our 16 month old daughter (she rode in a stroller). The streets were clean, the people were friendly, and we felt safe all day, including walking home from Nassau and Spadina at 8pm. The Sheraton connects directly to the PATH (press C in the elevator), which can take you anywhere that you really want to go - Union Station, Eaton Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, and tons of places in between. We got funny looks wheeling a stroller around, because during the day people dressed in suit-and-tie are walking with purpose from Tim Horton's back to work. The good - people do not dilly dally in the PATH, they get to where they are going. The bad - you really have to keep your eyes open for the handicap ramps when you have a stroller, and not all of the elevators were user friendly. We were easily able to walk to CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, which took about 20 minutes from the hotel at a brisk pace - all of it was indoors except for the 2 minute walk from the exit of the skywalk. The only reason why I selected "noisy" was because we could hear city noise out of the window. Yes, the window was closed, and we were on the 27th fl

Information desk suggested restaurants and made reservations. Across from the new opera house(four seasons) and surrounded by restaurants, the Sheraton is in a central location. Buffet breakfast was pricey but staff was efficient and friendly. I asked for berries which were not on the buffet table and a dish of blueberries arrived no extra charge.

The hotel's public areas are beautiful! It is very convenient as there are many shops and dining options connected right to it. The beds were great! The parking was outrageous. The rooms could have been updated, but weren't terrible. The inside of the hotel was beautiful! There were many little shops and it was connected to the underground shopping. Very convenient. And we loved that there was a Tim Horton's right next door!

Bed and linens were comfortable and luxurious; the shower had perfect water presser which made for an enjoyable shower. The complimentary coffee in the lobby ran out and they did not replenish it. There were several unhappy clients over that. Enjoyed the room and for its cleanliness and comfort. The room was appointed well and decorated attractively. The shower was perfect. Great water pressure. The staff was positive and proffessional. Very welcoming. Great stay, too short though. Will definitely use this service again.

My wife took me to Toronto for my birthday last August. I have to say the staff was very helpful during our stay. They even suggested many activities and local eateries that we had to try. Our room was very spacious and always clean when we asked for the room to be cleaned. The view was to die for. With the CN Tower in view, we were lucky to see it change color every night. The only draw back was the fire alarm went off at 1am one night but the staff was very informative and made sure we stayed calm. The fact that it was within walking distance to everything, including the hall of fame, was a real plus.

The staff was friendly and helpful at all times which made our trip to Toronto a pleasurable experience. I would have liked one king bed instead of the two double beds. We visit Toronto often visiting family and friends.
