Head manager was very pleasant, needs to teach this trait to his employees. The desk clerks were extremely rude, going as far as whispering to each other about customers choking in and rolling their eyes if guests made request. Hotel in great location, great rooms, great view. Employees entirely rude-almost negated the positives of the location and the room.

Hotel Staff (house keeping) was outstanding. Construction. The entire hotel staff attended to my every request in a timely manner. The house keeping staff was the best that I have witnessed in my 20 years of travel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Norfolk.

Walking distance to the shopping mall. I expected the hotel to be on the beach. Very nice hotel on the waterfront but I expected to be on the beach. I was a bit disappointed but despite this, I still enjoyed my stay.

Cleanliness of rooms, friendly staff, location. The hotel was outstanding. The Sheraton Hotel Waterside was conveniently located and within walking distance of many attractions including the MacArthur Mall. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were above average for the price. The hotel is situated on the waterside giving you a wonderful view and feeling of a beach like setting. This hotel can meet all of your travel needs whether it is a romantic getaway, family fun or traveling on business. I would recommend the Sheraton Waterside Hotel to anyone traveling into the area.

Everything you needed was there. Food was not the best. Breakfast in the room was better. Great weekend. Only drawback was lots of area construction and the dining was pricey for the quality. It may have been our menu choice. I would still recommend the hotel.

The softness of the beds was Amazing! Oh and the hotel is in an outstanding spot. The parking options. Either $20 for overnight or $12/day. Right next door to hooters, outback, Joes crab shack, clubs, bars etc.

Great location and beautiful view from the room. There was no closet in the room. I enjoy staying at this hotel for the view, the location and the fact they are pet-friendly. They do not have wireless access, and sometimes the cables are too short. The last room they placed me in had no closet! At least place a rack in the bathroom if you are not going to provide a closet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The $22 valet parking and $12 per night garage parking. Overall, my stay here was very good. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and helpful. The room and bathroom were nice and comfortable.

The bed was comfortable. The noisy hallway. There were not any amenities that smaller fewer starred hotels offer such as free in room internet, free continental breakfast, and free parking.

The Sheraton was very nice, clean, and the staff were quite accomodating. I was given an 8th floor room with a great view of the harbour. There were plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance and it was a quick ride to the airport.

We arrived the day before my boyfriend's 29th birthday and had a great time. I had called ahead and requested that strawberries and a bottle of champagne be left in the room upon arrival. Everything was just how I asked for it to be! We went down to the beach after we dropped our luggage off and checked in. spent the day there and relaxed. We were there during renovations but it didnt bother us. The staff was great and offered breakfast as part of the sheraton rewards program. I was very happy with my stay.

Last time I stayed at this hotel it was bad...This visit was awesome. The hotel has been completely renovated.. (still some work being done). The rooms are gREAT.
The lobby is very hip with area for laptop users, with flat screen TVs and the waiters from the restaurant will come and offer you service. The front desk staff was great- big difference from a year ago! If going to Norfolk this is a great deal !

Breakfast was good. Not what I expected from a Sheraton. You put me, a non-smoker, in a smoking room. I was miserable and did not sleep. The hotel staff would do nothing to remedy the fact I was put in a smoking room.

Location. Construction and noise level. The hotel is conveniently located, but is undergoing renovation. The front desk provided a letter describing the times of the construction. Construction was supposed to start at 9 am on weekends, but we awoke to noise at 8 am. When I complained to the front desk, the young man argued with me because he did not seem to understand that Sunday was a weekend and not a weekday.

The valet was quick and not overpriced for such a nice hotel. Only $20/night I would have at least liked to have the option to self park The staff was relatively quick with requests like toothbrush, newspaper, etc. Checkout was easy. The cleaning staff was helpful. The hotel was definitely clean and had a relaxing environment.

Location. Cleanliness of bathroom tub. Overall I was pleased with my stay the TV did not work properly and the bath tub was not clean upon arrival.
