Huge room, nice location, andgreat amenities. At check in they said that I had requested a smoking room. The only non-smoking room was a room with a Murphy Bed and a roll away, which I accepted. It was a huge room (1000 sq/ft), but it had a large conference table on one side. No coffee in the room either. It also had a nice sitting area with a leather couch and chair. It was a bit strange, but overall a pretty good stay.

We felt the staff wAS excellent in all catagories. Internet was not free and should have been. We would have preferred the mirror to be over the desk for ease in use of putting on makeup while another person was in the bathroom. It should be accompanied by an over-the-mirror light as well. The distance behind the chair and the bottom of the bed was too narrow. I would recommend that the desk be moved by the windows so that the way to the TV side of the room cannot be blocked.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Non-smoking floors is not enforced Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that I disliked was returning to the hotel from dinner to find my room smelling of cigarette smoke from the occupant in the room next door. I was on a non-smoking floor. I called the front desk and they did offer to send up an ionizer and offered to pay for drinks at the bar while we waited, but it was rather late in the evening. Room service was again, very efficient, and the quality of the room service was top notch. The grounds at the hotel were quite nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable. We were not able to go to the complimentary breakfast . A very nice hotel with peaceful and relaxing grounds.

The beds were wonderful. The rooms were small, (we stayed in the deluxe room) and there was no refrigerater, no microwave. It was convient to Standford Medical Center, but there were many other motels in the area with better amenities at a cheaper price. We did have a really nice dinner at the Poolside Grille.

The Palo Alto Sheraton is a lovely place to stay! Our room was readily avaiiable, clean and comfortable. And the pillows! Mmmmm! As it was New Year's Eve and the hotel was hosting a large party, we were lucky there was overflow parking--accessible with our room key/card. I appreciated the Sheraton's proximity to every place we wished to visit during our stay.

Friendly staff and extremely close location to Stanford University An excellent value for your money--the Sheraton Palo Alto was located within walking distance to both Stanford University and the shops along University Ave in Palo Alto. We had a great time!

Close to Stanford Medical Center and Stanford Shopping Center. The staff at the check in was rude, room smelled like smoke. Checking into the hotel after spending 2 days down the road with my son in Salinas at a Holiday Inn Express was a total let down. The young lady at the reception desk was rude and after being rude had the nerve to ask if we wanted to be Stardust members. We checked into our room and it had a stale cigarette smoke smell. The room appeared cleaned and the hotel overall appeared cleaned but run down. The Holiday Inn Express we stay at for 2 night was brand new, modern, clean; we did not have to pay for parking, internet access, free breakfast and it was not just donuts and juice or coffee. The staff was friendly.
