I liked the architectural elements of the hotel. It was older but clean and neat. The staff was not very friendly. The hotel was clean and very close to the airport. I liked the common areas. When we checked in the fireplaces were lit, and it made the place feel warm and inviting. It is an older hotel, but I would stay here again. It was a great hotel for the money.

I loved the rooms very clean the beds were very comfortable. The room walls were a little thin. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel very welcoming and I would defiantly stay their again.

Clean. Under construction, pools, sauna, and Jacuzzi out of use. The pools, sauna and Jacuzzi were not open. That was the main reason this hotel was picked. Very disappointed.

Awesome fitness center - as good as a health club. Dining room service was slow. Now a Sheraton, the place was awesome. Comfy beds, new HD TV, but channels were limited. Fitness center was as good if not better than in any other hotel I've ever stayed in. Had to pay for internet in room and in common area, not good. Otherwise great place to stay

Newly refurbished and well equipped. Lobby and rooms are brand new, tastefully done with lots of hardwood and nice art.

Professional and attentive. They were hosting the Hooters Softball tournament. So others in hotel were not exactly a comfort. The hotel offers numerous values for the traveler, the beds and bathrooms are excellent, the rooms clean and attractive. A lack of internet in all rooms was a pain, but Wi-Fi in the lobby was a help. The restaurant would not take us after 9 pm because it becomes a night club and would not allow my 8 year old in; despite the fact only two people were in the facility. But the indoor and outdoor pools were great, room service was attentive, and the managers made an effort to overcome all difficulties we encountered.

I will be nice when they fix all the problems. The place is dirty, nails, woodchips, sheetrock dust not a 2-star place. The carpet is so nasty you didn't want to rub your suitcase on it. The place is dirty it needs paint badly, even the bathrooms in the rooms have mold @ the base of the tub wall paper coming off in rooms and halls. The staff needed to shave.

Fireplaces in the lobby, friendly helpful staff. Hard to get to signs not obvious. Grounds a bit dirty. Friendly staff, very helpful. Very good food. Room very clean and orderly, beds comfortable. Love the fireplaces in the lobby and restaurants. Nice little indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Great rate. Great location just a couple minutes from Downtown and various stores. Highly recommend.

They were in the middle of a remodel. However, they accomodated our requests as well as could be expected (we had a large breed dog with us and needed to change the room they had assigned us, which was in desparate need of a remodel itself). The air conditioning didn't work,but the weather was nice and we were able to keep cool by opening the balcony door. The staff was friendly and room service was delicious as well as reasonably priced. We would go back, but we will call first to see if construction has been completed!

Beautiful layout, pools. Has potential. Run down. Need refurbishing. No free internet access. This hotel used to be a Marriott and was high quality. The owners now are letting it deteriorate. No excuse for the poor upkeep. I had the makings for coffee in the morning but no coffee pot.

Bed was very comfortable. The TV selection without ordering extra cost viewing was limited. We have previously stayed in Roanoke in other facility. Our stay at the Wyndham was close to our Roanoke family, easy to find, and very clean and comfortable!

Beautifully remodeled. Restaurant was very slow. Beautifully remodeled staff was pleasant and professional. Restaurant was extremely slow to greet for breakfast.

Location. Paying for internet, old, A/C regulation. Needs renovation, has that 1970's feel. Have to pay daily $9.95 for internet service which was disgusting. Small televisions in rooms. Washing machine had only a cold water wash cycle. No candy machines on floors. Staff did not work with me on getting a flat rate for internet service. Front desk could not make change for laundry, which I did at my co-workers hotel. A/C units did not ever turn off. It was either too cold or warm. The fan ran continuous.

The indoor pool, the Starbucks stand, late checkout. The hallway floors had litter on them. This hotel was especially nice for the price. Traveling as a single Mom with kids, I felt safe and the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The rooms were well-appointed with clean and tasteful linens. I also liked the convenience of a Starbucks stand right in the lobby.
