Proximity to Syracuse university. Area around the hotel. We were told marshal street is the place to go. We went out right before dark to find a place to eat and it was eerie. We were asked for money by a panhandler and there was a gang of derelicts on the street corner. We didn't like the area at all and went back to the hotel right away.

Anytime I stay over in Syracuse, the Sheraton University will be my hotel. Great service, wonderful bed (pillow-top), classy furnishings, and a well-lit comfortable shower. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the location felt safe and was within a short walking distance to little university-type shops and restaurants.

Classy, Professional, felt safe to walk to surrounding areas. Any Noise in hallway could be heard. Modern facility designed for the businessmen and leisure travelers alike. Staff well trained to attend to your needs.
