London has long been one of the world’s premier cities, with a rich history spreading back hundreds of years. Today, London is as vibrant as ever, making it one of the top five tourist destinations in the world. Formed from the amalgamation of five, six storey townhouses, an elegant grade II listed Victorian structure is a favorite haunt of tourists from both home and abroad and a preferred base for business men and women with reasonably priced accommodation which ensures that many guests return on a regular basis. A hearty full English buffet breakfast is offered everyday from 7:30am in the comfortable Breakfast Hall whilst an enticing array of restaurants await in nearby streets. Within a small radius of the Hotel, London’s historical landmarks such as Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament jostle with modern day celebrated attractions like the London Eye and London Aquarium whilst the theatre district of the ‘West-End’ is just a short distance away. If its culture you're after, we are also surrounded by numerous art galleries, such as the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern, the National Gallery with its renowned Sainsbury Wing and not to be missed British Library as well as museums such as the Natural History, Albert and Victoria Museum, and the amazing Science Museum, to name a few. For those who wish to enjoy a diverse range of shops, the renowned districts of Oxford Circus, Bond Street and Kensington with their fashionable stores and boutiques are only minutes away. And with the Victoria and Pimlico Rail/Underground stations just a short walk away, getting around the commercial centers and the energetic nightlife of the capital offers few problems. With 82 bedrooms served by two elevators, we can cater for a variety of guests, from small families to single businessmen and women. Each attractively furnished room offers the benefits of double-glazing/central heating and enjoying ensuite facilities. In addition, hospitality trays, color remote-control television with satellite channels, radio, hairdryer, a direct dial telephone with voice messaging and data ports/modem points are standard fixtures to every room. the quad room was very small especially when 4 people were trying to get ready in there but it was fine for our needs. a bit more floor space and slightly bigger bathroom would have been nice. wouldn't have been happy had i paid full price for it. breakfast was nice but 9am finish even on weekend i felt was very early, especially when there was a queue down the corridor and adjoining stairs as the dining room was obviously not big enough for the hotel. great location though for restaurants, victoria tube and general sightseeing.

The hotel was better then expected as some of the reviews were quite poor!!! Our group had a mixture of room types a twin and family on different floors and they were all clean. The twin rooms are a little small but when you only sleep in there its not an issue. The reception staff we ok, and they checked us in very quickly. The hotel location in good for the Victoria coach/underground stations.

the one thing that was really great aout this hotel that it is in the very good place, caus it is close to the victorian statipn were metro is. room was so small, and it was in underground so no sunshine or day light at all, bathroom reminded me an airplane. well if it wouldn't say 4* it would e nice for a 2-3* , the furniture was lovely, the tv as well, but so far the prices are not small I was expecting something more, than just a tidy small room in the undeground, and reception really don't careof asking how are you or may I help you, even good morning i said first :D

Had slight difficulty finding hotel from Victoria Tube station. Hotel was first class for cleanliness and comfort, however, we were put in a room (605) in the basement which was comfortable and had a large electric fan on the ceiling and also had a window that opened. There was no view, only to a backyard looking at step ladders and the sun never got to the room. Room disappointing for this reason only but the actual room was well presented with flat screen TV, excellent en-suite shower room. Would have liked to see a fridge and a safe in the room though. A further advantage to the room was that it was next to the Breakfast room, which served a decent breakfast.

RoomWe were given a family room when there was only 2 of us.Sheet had been washed but was not clean. Blankets on bed instead of duvet? Also we were situated on the ground floor by office and store room which were used frequently during the night so did not get much sleep due to doors being opened and closed. No feedback cards offered at hotel.

The hotel is well situated between Victoria and Pimlico tube stations. The web site stated a 11:00am checkout, however the hotel advised me it was 10:30am. No problem though, they said they would honor the 11:00am checkout. The room was good, however my only comment was that the shower basin would overflow within minutes; I had to turn off the water and wait 5 minutes before turning the water on again.

rooms VERY small... ensuite at the end of the bed with GLASS door!!(no blind) toilet facing the door!!! Not once did someone ask if we had enjoyed our stay. If you are going with a partner, make sure you dont mind watching each others bathroom activities...DISGUSTING set up. very noisy in mornings so be prepared for a rude awakening!

What more do you expect at this price?Perfectly clean, but cramped shower room with no towelrail no tissues no shelf to put anything on. Breakfast in narrow basement a bit of a crush, and no brown-bread toast. A plus is that there is a bus-stop bang outside the door. Like I say, what more do you expect at this price?
