GOOD VALUE HOTEL BUT GET ROOM AT THE BACK AWAY FROM TRAFFIC NOISE!Room too noisy - even with windows closed. Also very warm even with windows open. Windows cant be fully opened for security so very narrow opening for fresh air. Not the hottest of days so would be a nightmare if a heatwave between noise and windows closed!? Unsightly rubbish outside room window on the roof of entrance patio. Didnt sleep until 6am so never got to sample breakfast!? Good shuttle bus to O2. Reception staff not over friendly or enthusiastic to meet or greet you or assist in basic requirements regards what is on offer at hotel and surrounding area!? Room reasonably clean. Bit shabby and needs updating. Bed covers some stains and a little drab. All brown!! Bathroom fine. Shower in bath ok. Water hot ok. Good enough hotel overall as long as you get room to the back of the hotel.

Stayed here before and would stay here again!I stayed in really nice room, which I think was a refurbished one as it was far nicer decor etc than one i stayed in the last time. My whole stay was very enjoyable, except when I mentioned to the reception staff that there was no toilet paper in any of the cubicles or the disabled toilet. They just looked at me, I felt they were going to laugh, other than they could see my annoyance. That aside, well done Skylon, really enjoyed my stay and will stay there again in the future!!!

Chosen at short notice for a business trip after finding most of the reasonably priced near city center hotels full for the date required. Although apprehensive due to lack of reviews, I was pleasantly surprised at the standard. Although a way out of the city, I am sure that the main road it was set back on had a good bus service. There were also other bars, eating places and a Spar shop close by. I was allocated a large quiet room with a double and single bed, wall mounted flat screen tv. A few minor niggles on bar meal service, etc, but excellent value and would use it again for business.

excellent location, plenty of local transport to Dublin city plus a concierge for arranging taxis, excellent restaurants within walking distance and ideal location for croke park. room was big size with bath tub. only bad point is parking, hotel has a limited amount of parking spaces, plus a fully functioning bar, be prepared to wait around for parking spaces. but would still recommend hotel for the price.

Very diapointed at not being allocated our rooms until 2pm. Our flight was very early 6.30am. We were all very tired when we arrioved. We thought the heating in the hotel was far too hot and very uncomfortable. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel and was very noisy. Very hard to sleep. We had a leaking radiatorin our room and reported it. Towels were put down to soak up the water. Were still there when we left!!!!! Full breakfast was poor.
