This hotel is ideally located near a tube station, bus stops and a taxi rank. Good access to shopping. Good quality of service, room, cleanliness, etc. The only thing which let the hotel down was the poor breakfast: very slow service, staff in some disarray, the English breakfast tasted of cheap quality and was badly cooked ie bacon overcooked, sausages pink and undercooked. I did not have time to stay and discuss the matter because the breakfast took so long to be served. I will stay there again and hope this was just an off day.

Really nice and friendly staff, great location

Took advantage of an excellent wekend rate of £129 per night for a double. Was upgraded to a Superior Room on arrival but would not have known as the room was pretty small but aren't they all in London?! Nevertheless the room was very clean and well appointed and I have no complaints whatsoever. Certainly value for money and ideally situated.

We enjoyed the cosy room which was well furnished and had all that we required for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night as the hotel is so convenient for the river in one direction, the Albert hall in another and Buckingham palace, all of which are within easy walking distance as is Victoria coach and train station. The staff were friendly and helpful which was a condition which was maintained throughout our evening function through to the \"wee hours\" of the following morning. The reception area is a good place to sit and people watch as it looks out onto Sloane square and the Bistro is easily accessable from there. The food was well cooked and presented both at our function, and at breakfast and the portion sizes suited our needs, ( we tend to avoid \"pigging out\" even when away, though some foreign nationals who regard quantity as THE criterion for food may not agree! ). We noted that some rooms are accessed only via a few stairs though as the lift serves the majority of rooms this should not be a problem and I am sure that if \"no stairs\" was a requirement, the staff would accommodate it.Keep up the good work and in those immortal words of Arnie Schwartsneger, \" I'll be back\".

Fantastic fantastic location and friendly staff.Our room was a standard, and as small as we expected, but was very comfortable and had a great view over Sloane square. We missed the convenience of a hotel bar,although there are plenty places around and the Chelsea Brasserie is right next door, it just seemed a little strange.We are londoners who were staying in our own city and know the area so found it conveinent for a one night stay, but a tourist staying longer may need more from a hotel than just a room. I sure missed that bar!!

Sloane SquareThis is a classy place. The customer service is excellent, the decor is wonderful (there is an orchid in the lobby that must be about 7ft) the rooms are lush and well decked out. If you get a room with a view over the square itself it's tempting just to sit in the window enclave and watch the world go by. I didn't take anything out of the mini bar but to be fair the mini-bar and room service were both well priced. Neither did I have any food, my rating of the food refers to the bar cocktails which were excellent (only the second place in Brition I have found that makes a good Vesper). As for value for money, I got the room at a big discout through laterooms, but the hotel does have the panache to deserve its full prices.

Excellent hotelOne only negative thing: the hotel exchanged the rate into euros while the price was agreed in pounds and the exchange was very negative to me.

Room size a little dissapointing.Described as Superior Double with Seperate Seating Area.Room was in fact fairly small and only seating area was a window seat.
