This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The bathtub was dirty, there was dirt on the wall crevices. The bed felt like I was sleeping on an old lumpy couch. It was just awful.

I visited the SpringHill Suites Norfolk/Va Beach July 6-10. The breakfast was not quite as appealing as the previousSprinHillSuites that I stayed at, but was better than the average ""continental breakfast"". Sausage, grits, waffles, cereals, oatmeal and scrambled eggs were the daily choices. I also noticed that it was not as clean as some other hotels that I have visited. The elevator had the same scraps of paper on the floor all week, I had to request that my shower curtain liner be changed due to the dirty soap residue left by the previous guest. This was done immediatley by house keeping. However the room was very spacious and the location right at the highway made it very easy to reach the resort area; which is about 15 minutes away, and downtown.

Overall stay was OK .... I would definitely recommend another Hotel if you plan to use the pull out sofa bed. The one in my room badly was worn and needed to be replaced. This hotel appears to be very family friendly thus lots of kids in common areas and lots of noise. I thinks it wonderful for beach goers but perhaps a bit too busy for business travelers.

I would not stay any place other than Springhill Suites when I visit the Virginia Beach area. the hotel is extremely clean and the staff is friendly. Location is wonderful, there is a major chain restaurant right outside the doors of the hotel. Great lighting when parking in the rear of the hotel.

My spouse and I love the atmosphere at the hotel and they have a great breakfast buffet!

Great place to stay on business or vacation!
