We had a long weekend and wanted to get away for a few days. Boy were we in for a surprise. This topped our honeymoon in Jamaica. If you've ever wanted to visit the Smoky Mountain you need to stay at Starr Crest. We have already reserved another cabin for this fall.

These luxurious cabins lack nothing. The view from Sugar & Spice was spectacular. The kids enjoyed the air hockey, pool table, video arcade game, and of course the PS2. Close enough to Pigeon Forge for any necessitites, far out enough to feel secluded. Cabins are on a cul-de-sac with others, so there is not complete privacy. Resort does have an outdoor pool and nice new playground. Will definitely visit again.

This was our fourth time to stay at Starr Crest Resort. My advice to someone looking to rent a cabin here would be to ride through the resort if possible so you can get an idea of where the cabin is and the view you will have. Some cabins have better views and balcony privacy than others. We always make a long "A" list on our check out day so we will have several good cabins to choose from next time we book a stay.
