Good location just one block from Bay street. Only valet parking is available, no on-street parking. Great room, comfortable beds, nice mini-kitchen suitable for longer stays. Common area is in oldest part of building, and is charming. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking is the only negative for this location. Pretty much have to use their valet parking.

"Upon arrival we were informed that we did not have a King room (eventhough we had reserved one). After a few minutes they miraculously had a King room. Entering the room, it was a smoking room (which we had requested non-smoking). We kept the room because, we were rushing to get to a wedding-rehearsal. Valet parking is your only option at this hotel. Once the valet brought the wrong vehicle, another occasion the valet did not leave to get the car until we were downstairs. The staff was friendly, but for the cost of our stay, their competency was lacking."

Convenience to attractions on Bay & River Streets. Lack of space for parking. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Computers & a small store for snacks, drinks & medications were available 24/7. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do in Savannah. I would love to stay there again!

"This was a good place to stay.We walked everywhere in a matter of minutes. The River walk was just across the street. The suggested tours were excellent, The rooms were off the scale. I spent several evening in the lobby because it was so welcoming and comfortable. My sister enjoyed the room with all the TV The rooms are large and clean, the water always hot, the staff flexible. When we were in our rooms they just came back later to clean What a wonderful place for a quiet vacation. This was better than some 4 star places I have stayed. Would certainly stay here again"

The location and the free breakfast. My room was a bit too small, but for the price can't beat it. The hotel was what I expected. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel and my room were clean (important factors for me). The daily breakfast was great. The architecture of the lobby was lovely, warm and inviting. The location was perfect, walking distance to most things. My only complaint would be that my room was a little small.

"Very nice accommodation in good location with friendly service. They were newly opened and could not recommend a restaurant open for a very late arrival. But when I found a good (new) one and brought the brochure back to the hotel in the middle of the night, the desk was very happy to have a new option for future guests."

Concierge was quite helpful and scheduled tours for me with a guide whose schedule had changed from marketing brochure. Housecleaning: It did not appear that the rug in the bath area had been vacuumed. Excellent location. Good service. Decent rooms. Solid value.

Hot cold faucet lines switched in restroom, shower room towel bar not secured and came apart, toilet seat would not stay up and air conditioner outlet right on top of bed. Everything else was excellent!

This hotel is in a great location, easy for exploring the historic district, shopping, and restaurants. Staff were wonderful -- friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast buffet was a treat, and the midweek happy hour receptions were a delightful surprise. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Definitely a good choice and a good value!

What a great place!!!! It is in the perfect spot for seing Savannah, right across from the factors walk. The food was great, the free beverages and light meal in the evening ;on tues-thurs; was a great touch. The building was beautifully decorated, clean, the beds were comfortable and I would never stay anywhere else when visiting Savannah.

STaybridge was directly across from the waterfront. Everything in Savannah was accessible to this hotel by walking. The staff was cordial, helpful. The rooms were very clean and had full kitchen. Breakfast was provided each day and had healthful foods.

My biggest complaint about this hotel is that the carpets were dirty. In the elevator, filthy. In the room, dirty, especially leading from the bathroom to the room. Everyday the cleaning crew sprinkled room deodorizer on the carpet before vacuuming up, leaving the room with a heavy perfumy smell and white dust on the wood moldings and window sills. I wondered if they had ever been steam cleaned properly. If you didn't look at the floors, or carpets, the hotel was actually nice looking. It's a historic building a block from the river. The hot breakfast was a plus, espcially for saving time in the morning or for additional savings. I didn't find the hotel staff overly hospitable or even friendly. I'd never stay here again, I've never stayed at a Staybridge Suites before, so I cannot say if this was what they are all like, or this one didn't meet company standards.

Good location but parking is hard. Not perfectly clean, ran out of headsets for treadmill, can't give directions when I couldn't find hotel. The room was clean but not perfect. Light from outside made it bright enough to read in the room with the lights turned out. The coffeepot was left dirty and had micro organism growing in it. Breakfast was good. I would not stay here again.

Staff was excellent, perfect location. At check in that valet was the only option (@12.00/day). A guest told us there was free behind the hotel. It would have been nice to have the option/. This is a very comfortable hotel in a perfect location right in the heart of historic Savannah. The entire staff exudes "Southern Hospitality".

"Great hotel in Savannah Historic District. Hotel is across from River Street near great bars, restaurants and all Savannah riverfront attractions. You have to try the Pralines and Pecan pie on River Street. I have never had such sweet treats. "

Conveniently located in Historic District. Could hear people in hallways from room and outside window. Enjoyed our stay, room was large and nicely furnished and decorated. It was quite comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located in the historic district which made using our room throughout the day very easy. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.
