Everything was very nice and clean, I loved that they have included the tower entrance with the hotel stay, The staff is friendly and helpful specially whe you ask for extra things for the room like cribs or towel. I dont have nothing bad to say but the check in time. I will definetly stay again with my family.

When there was a problem with the toilet, it was fixed right away. I could not use my player club points to help pay for the extra costs. It was a typical Las Vegas Hotel.

They tell you that that you will get a room(for2) in 30 bucks which will surprise at first but eventually you'll find it cost you just double as that doesn't include internet connections, some other taxes etc .That will fill in you some disgust & anguish. But still would say it is not bad at all to spend that amount for staying in such a grand hotel.

We wanted to stay at the Stratosphere because we wanted to be with our friends who always stay there. I don't think we would have picked it otherwise and found it too far away from the main area of the strip. It does not have the luxury of some of the other major hotels, but I'm sure its price reflects that. We would have preferred to have more restaurants, nice shops and shows in the hotel or immediate area. The rooms were very nice though, and we have no complaints about that.

We had a nice stay the hotel was clean and quiet. The view wasnt as nice as the one we had at Sams Town but it was ok. It was nice to be able to go to the top for free and take all my friends and family living there. It was also nice having an all night Mc Donalds there for late night snacks.

The Stratosphere is dated meaning that the carpeting needs to be replaced and the amenities in the rooms need updating but for the $35.00 per night charge you get what you pay for. Left a jacket in the room and no one has turned it in yet.

The hotel staff at check - in was very pleasant. The room was large and the king size bed was a joy to sleep in. The only problem I had with the room is that the water in the basin drained very slow and the mirror over the basin was not close enough. I enjoyed the restaurants, the food in Lucky's was good.

I was visiting my daughter because she graduated high school. My stay at the hotel was great, it"s just if you want to save on food I suggest you go somewhere else. Other than that it was great, freindly people, clean, quiet, and relaxing! I don"t travel much and hardly stay at hotels, but this was fun and i will do it again.

We were in Vegas for the NHRA Drag Races, the only thing that could have made it more enjoyable was if it was closer to some of the Larger Casinos, I would also change how approached by the staff for the Tahiti Village, no matter how many times we came in or out we were constantly approached by them to come and take the tour, it became really annoying and bothersome. Other than that it was great, we especially enjoyed the little 50's diner what GREAT ENTERTAINMENT WHILE EATING! Thanks

I HAVE STAYED AT THE STRAT EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS. SOMETIME TWICE A YEAR. MY SON WAS EVEN MARRIED THERE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. AS AT EVERY HOTEL YOU FIND THINGS YOU LIKE AND DISLIKE, BUT OVERALL THE STRAT IS THE BEST DEAL FOR YOUR MONEY. AS AN EXAMPLE LAST APRIL THEY HAD A 19.99 BUFFET SPECIAL. THIS PRICE ALLOWED YOU TO EAT AT THE BUFFET AT EACH OF THEIR SITTINGS. TWENTY BUCKS A DAY FOR MEALS, HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT. IF YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT VEGAS YOU CAN GET TO THE MAIN STRIP OR DOWNTOWN WITHOUT A PROBLEM, MONORAIL, CITY BUS ETC. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE STAFF AND ANY PROBLEM THAT I HAD WAS CORRECTED, ALTHOUGH I ALMOST FELL FOR THE UP GRADE SCAM THE FIRST TIME I WAS THERE,BUT THATS TRIED AT MOST OF THE HOTELS. THE GAMING AREA IS PERFECT FOR THE "LOW ROLLER". THE DEALERS ARE VERY HELPFUL (WHICH THEY SHOULD BE)IF YOU NEED A GAME EXPLAINED TO YOU. THE BARTENDERS AND WAITRESSES ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND QUICK TO REFILL YOUR BEVERAGE. THE ENTERTAINMENT IS PRETTY GOOD AS FAR AS HOTEL SHOWS GO, BUT THEY ARE ALSO WELL PRICED. SO IF YOU ARE A "LOW ROLLER" AND DONTS NEED ALL THE FRILLS AND HIGH LIMIT TABLES THAT ARE OFFERED AT THE FANCY STRIP HOTELS, THEN STAY AT THE STRAT. I AM GOING BACK THERE IN APRIL.

Convenient walk to the monorail station. Not close to most other properties on the strip. The rooms were clean, although the lighting wasn't the best. Beds were comfortable. While it is far away from most properties on the strip, it's a pretty short walk to the monorail station at the Sahara, so it wasn't too inconvenient. Would consider staying here again.

This was our first trip to Vegas. A trip from hell. Online it appears that the room is nice and this is a good deal, however, PASS. The hotel is the last on the strip, in a bad location. Literally can not walk around the hotel, or you will certainly be a victim. The room was smelly, like mildew, the toilet backed up, and the tub/shower was clogged as well. The positive point of our weekend was the thrill rides and the American Stars Show, which had impersonators who were pretty good. The bottom line.. YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR. Next time, we will just splurge and pay extra to stay at the Bellagio, Venetian, or any one of the hotel casinos on the southern end of the strip.

Upon asking if we could see about early check in, I was promptly told that check in was at 3:00. Reymundo was not very nice as we were checking in. Then, in Roxy's Diner, when we advised the waiter that we ordered onion rings instead of fries, he huffed and grabbed the plates and then had the manager bring back the plates & apologize instead of doing it himself.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was the location. Was a bit far from the rest of the strip of hotels. If you want to keep away from the noise or the busy streets of the strip it would be good. But I was looking for sumthing more central. But the hotel had a lot of things to do inside like shopping in botiques, eating in a Restaurant, going to the spa or seeing a show.

Went to Vegas with a friend to have some fun. Booked the Stratosphere because it was rather cheap and looked pretty nice. I wasn't too worried about it being the nicest place because I definitely wasn't going to Vegas to sleep! The hotel was nice, staff was friendly and the room was decent sized. However, the location was the worst part. Luckily we had a car so we could drive, but I did have to make the long walk a few times late at night. The pool wasn't anything special either. It was on the 8th floor, no trees, and they played music way too loud. We didn't get a fridge in our room and our "strip view" was blocked by very dirty windows. Overall, I have to say it's worth it if you're on a budget, but if you're looking for a really nice place, look elsewhere.

Got to LV around 10 pm, check in was quick, but we just happened to get there right before about 50 or so others. The staff was very helpful. Went to the Italian resturant when got there, was sort of fancy but we were able to go in as dressed, tennis shoes and jeans. View of mountains from room was great. Gotta be on 10th floor or higher tho. Need to have coffee maker in room. Went to Lucky's for breakfast, LOOK AT THE SPECIALS MENU ON TABLE!!! Did not see it and paid too much off the regular menu, waiter did not offer the specials. The walk down the strip is pretty far, wear comfy shoes. It took us about an hour to walk to Harrah's. Taxi's are not that expensive, so take them if you're gonna dress up to go out to a show. We went to the BITE show. It was GREAT! DO NOT SIT AT THE LITTLE TABLES IN FRONT. Too close to the stage and our necks sorta hurt, but we did get up close to the Vampires. VERY HOTTTT!! Take a taxi to the Freemont Street Experience at NIGHT! IT ROCKS! This was a clean hotel, good price.Bring plenty of money, the casinos are just to hard to resist. Go to top of tower the view is awesome. Would stay here again, but also would like to try another place on the strip just to get another experience.

The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino is the best value on the strip! The price was outstanding and the service was first-rate. The pool and hottub area were clean and well maintained. The water was clean as was the deck chairs and lounges. The Bite show put on at the casino was very enjoyable and well worth the price. We also visited the Top of the World restaurant and lounge. What an incredible view! We had VIP passes to both the show and the lounge and all we can say is WOW!!! The view from the top of the tower is unbelievable. The casino is well laid out and the servers are always there to bring you whatever you want. Very friendly. The shops inside the casino are fairly priced for their wares and you can also find great deals as well. Souvineers are really cheap there. The only thing that we feel could have been better was the price of the food in the restaurants. We felt they were a little overpriced. Buffets get boring after a while. That notwithstanding, we would stay there again no questions asked. Well worth the trip!!

The check in line was very long and took some time. However, the valet was great..they took our luggage and brought it to us after we checked in. I did get a good rate..they offered an upgrade for 50.00 a night to a suite so we took it....had a spa tub that was nice....and sitting area with fridge and microwave. It was worth it. One downfall was that the pool had very limited hours...extended hours would have been nice....we do pay extra resort fees and cannot use the pool due to time restrictions. We did get married at the top of the Stratosphere....and the wedding chapel staff was great...and reasonable....soooo much better than a chapel. We rented a car so no troubled getting around to other areas of the strip. However without a rental the location may not be the best. I do not see the reason for the complaints or bad reviews but our room was in the premium side of the hotel...so that may have made the difference. Overall, we had a nice stay. I would saty again...but tooo many different experiences to be had at other hotels....so most likely won't. Stay at a different hotel each time :)

Room was clean. Poor service while gambling, rare to find a waitress for a free drink. Prefer never to stay here again. Clean room, poor service from coctail waitress while gaming, had to pay for drinks at $7 bucks a pop beacuse I could not find a waitress to bring me a drink while gambling! Food at a few restaurants very bland, keys to room failed to work several times and had to have security let us in. Had to call for housekeeping twice to clean room, then they removed ash trays and did not replace them. Several little things.Never staying there again. Not to mention tightest slots in town!

For couples who are on a budget, this hotel is awesome. Another couple and my spouse and myself stayed here for the 2009 new year days (firework show was a big dissapointment). We stay from the 30th to the 4th of Jan. Overall, the hotel is in decent shape for a 3 star. It has all the slot and games that you would expect from vegas. You don't have to be a high roller to have fun here. You have free access to the tower (admission is $11 if you don't stay here) which also has a few rides on top (at additional cost, fun for the kids). You can also get free passes for other guesses if you want; limit is 4 (I think). The tower offered a great view at night to overlook the entire city and the strip. Internet is $12 or more if you want to sign up for 24hrs (or something like that). The walks down to the bigger hotels on the strip were further than we imagined, but there are shuttle for $5 for a full day pass. If you are sightseeing, I recommend touring the Encore and Wynn hotel a block down if you want to see what a 5 start hotel look like (has a lot of picture opportunity inside). The busses can take quite a while depending on traffic at night. There is a convenient store right outside if you need some misc. stuff. Hotel has a McDonald inside if you are on small budget. There is also a good Thai food (small diner) place across the street at very good price ($6-$15/dish depending on dishes and they have good family value package too). Downtown LV is also a 15 minutes shuttle ride north if want casinos where all of the local plays. I recommend going into DT at night so you can see the 3 blocks panoramic LCD TV (play every half hour/hourly?) which is awesome. Casino in DT are a lot more looser than the one on the big strip, also card games arent as high price as the one on the strip ($2-5 min bet on poker and bj instead of $5-10). Food wise, most buffets are $25+/person or $35+ at bigger hotels(TI). If you have your own transport, I recommend going off the strip and eat at

Several of us were in Vegas for a bowling tournament and many of us (9) stayed at the Stratosphere. This being our first trip to Vegas, we had heard that the location of this casino was not the greatest and that there were many nicer places to stay. We were all very satsified with our accommodations and enjoyed our stay at this casino. Wished they had microwaves and refidgerators in the rooms, but understand why they didn't. We were at the north end of the new strip, but we found travelling up and down the strip to be pretty easy by shuttle or cab. But, we ended up renting a minivan to travel to areas off the strip and were shocked at the taxes that were applied to the rental. All in all, we were very satisfied with the trip in general and would definitely recommend our stay at the Stratosphere to others.

Had a great time. me and my fiance are great positive people, so we can tell a great personality from a bad one right off the bat...but all the pesonalities at the Stratosphere appeared to be positive ones and the best attitudes and customer servive from any other place on the strip, we visited and spent some time in ALL the hotels, so we know. We had a blast. We don't gamble at all so we didnt do that, but the restaurants were great, the pool was soo fun and relaxing and the tower was a blast...not to mention everything that you needed was right in the hotel....really you dont have to leave the hotel, but we wanted to see all vegas had to offer. Though i miss my shopping stores hot stuff and 2 Cool, the other stores are still really nice. Overall we had a great time, no complaints...we didnt want to leave, but it was so great to get away and rome around and relax stress free and be on vacation for the 4th of july weekend. Orbitz is a great place to get a great price on your vacation package...especially in these economic times. The stratosphere was a clean and comfortable hotel that was priced right. It is a bit of a distance from the center of "the strip" however "the deuce", the public bus stops just outside the hotel and is an easy way to get to the strip or downtown. It was plenty of options for food, drink, entertainment, and pools.

The Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas was a very pleasant surprise to us. We have been in Las Vegas about three or four times now and were considering staying there but we never did. We did go to their restaurant Lucky's for breakfast a lot. This year, we decided to stay there and were very happy we did. The rooms were larger than we thought and very clean and comfortable. We also ate at the buffet and the Italian restaurant which was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we also came bach again on October 26, 27 and 28th. When we come back to Las Vegas again, we will surely consider the Stratosphere again. I forgot to say that we met so many very pleasant people that worked in the hotel. We felt like we were friends by the time we left. We had a very plesant time indeed.

The beds & pillows were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. We walked to the monorail to get to the rest of the strip and it was a bit of a walk but not too bad. You can catch a bus right in front of the hotel if you want to travel by bus down the strip. We felt the monorail was faster. The hotel had good restaurants and of course the best view in town from the top at night.

The Stratosphere room we stayed in was basic. The Stratosphere seems to be a no frills hotel which is well kept and clean. The staff was always very helpful and cleaning crew was always on the job.

This was my 3rd trip ever to Las Vegas. I found the Stratosphere to be very lively, full of friendly and heplful staff. The cssino was a blast, even though I very seldomly have played the slots or rarely have done much gambling in my entire live! The Ultimate Rewards Club was free to join and rewarded me quite handsomely -- I highly recommend others whom might stay at the Stratosphere to immediately join! The room I had was immaculate and well cared for throughout my stay. The Stratosphere offered so much when it came to dinning establishments and other ammenities such as live entertainment and shows, it was simply more than I could handle, personally, but for others with more energy and no disability, as I possess, this is just simply the BEST!!! I would highly recommend the Stratosphere to anyone and everyone! I look forward to my next trip there for certian and without a doubt, I wouln't stay anywhere else but, the Stratosphere, again and again. Very close to everything on the Strip, too.

The resort fee and the internet fee. The hotel requires a resort fee of $7.50 for each day at the hotel. This mandatory fee is paid whether one uses the optional resort amenities. The hotel also charges $11.99 a day for wireless internet. Will not use the hotel due to this cost.

This hotel is great if you are with your family, but not so great if you are young and looking to party and meet new people. It is also advertised as being on the strip, but is not actually on it. The pool was great and a lot nicer than many of the other hotel pools. The casino was also very nice.

Great location and facility. My visit was for rest and a relatively quiet getaway. It worked great! Room was quiet. Parking very convenient and it had a work out facility. Easy to find from a distance!

The room and beds were of upscale quality. The hallways clean and tidy (no room service trays sitting outside rooms). Would have liked to have had a small coffee pot in room. Compared to a previous stay on Fremont Street, It rates 3 stars better. Immediate area not very good but right on the line to the strip.

The hotel was clean and service was excellent. Location on the end of the strip heading to downtown wasn't the best but they did have public busing every 15 minutes or so. I would like to also note that the deals offered by the hotel on food, entertainment and drinks are great if you are looking for a bargain.

Beds were quite comfortably. Due to restrictions for liquids on planes hotels should leave soap and shampoo for two people when there is a double accoupancy. Was a very good trip.

it was a great place to get away from the busy crazy city life, the hotel had everything from coffee to late night snacking. The staff was helpful and friendly. sitting by the clean pool side was great.

Hotel is really great quality- updated and modern rooms, very clean, helpful staff, $25 cab ride to the airport, $10 to the middle of the strip. Great value. The casino is not the best for high quality gambling, but the hotel is super and worthwhile.

Stayed 2 nights as stopover to Sedona, Az. Very long walks through the casino to get anywhere. Not enough seats while waiting in the long line to register. The Tower made our stay at the Stratosphere worthwhile.

Our trip to Vegas began with the well conceived notion to hit every spot in a rather Hollywood manner i.e. fast and Furious! However once we checked into our hotel room and headed to the Top of thr World restaurant, life suddenly shifted to the pace of a Lazy susan. Anyway, the place was great for the price. It is a little north of the main part of the strip so if your not road tripping it from L.A. and have your car with you cabs can get expensive. The Top of the World restaurant has a fabulous view and a strong desert sunrise cocktail...be careful how many you have because the room at the top of the 110 story tower spins...literally. We would definitely recommend this place; in fact we are planning on staying there again over Thanksgiving!

The casino and the hotel were wonderful. We had a great time. Parking and navigation around the area is very easy. The only negative was the buffet. The food was alright but the buffet was overpriced compared to other buffets in vegas and the choices were not that numerous. If you do stay here though, make sure you eat at Roxy's Diner. It's a great experience and the food is delicious. Also, don't forget the thrill rides at the top of the tower. For the best view of vegas you have to ride the swings!!!

Lovely hotel for its value! I'm 21, and I took my parents (50&53) and my brother (23) for a week long stay at this hotel and we couldn't ask for better! The staff were fantastic, and always friendly. The atmosphere 'homey', and didnt' feel uncomfortable walking around the casino in casual clothes. The gym was great! The beds and pillows were the MOST comfortable I've ever slept on. Excellent hotel for a family getaway! I highly recommend it!
