This place is a PIT. The smell of the room was disgusting and quickly permeated our suit-cased clothing. This could could either be due to what looked like a fire in an adjacent building or mould. The bed frame was some make-shift contraption and the mattress was lumpy. The only sitting chair in the room was worn, tattered, and filthy. The carpet had many stains.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and the rooms clean and semi-comfortable, but was really noisy in the rooms, both from outside, other rooms and especially the pipes! Free breakfast is okay, though nothing wonderful. Given this a 3 star, as the rooms are certainly functional, staff very friendly and a bargain in this expensive area.
