Attended a convention that was headquartered at the Norfolk Marriot. The Tazewell was less than a 10 minute walk to the Marriot. Really appreciated the complimentary breakfast.

This hotel has spacious rooms and is in the heart of downtown Norfolk. It is close to several restaurants, including two attached to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This quaint property ends at the door. Staff is very courteous but the property need some TLC. Great central downtown location. If you have a car, parking is a block away and will cost you, as with most downtown located properties in larger cities. I was there on business so it was OK for my needs but would not take my wife for a vacation.

Two people travelled on this trip. Upon arrival we we found that there was 1 queen bed in the room and requested a change to 2 single beds. The hotel did not even attempt to remedy this problem. Further, there was no refrigerator in the room.

Very friendly desk. not all that well oganized but sort of refreshing as all reservatiuons were in paper files. Well within keeping with old south theme.

One of the few hotels that have smoking rooms left. Very convienent location. A bit noisy late at night with a few bars that close around 1 or 2 am very close by. Staff was very polite and helpful. The noise was the only negative.

The Tazewell Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom did not have a fan which was a little inconvenient when trying to get ready after my husband had showered. The location was nice if you want to be in downtown. It was really close to at least 10-15 bars/restaurants. We would stay there again!
