It wasn't terrible, in fact the beds were great. The hallways and casino need refurbishing, but the rooms were certainly worth $$ a night.

Nice place to stay for the money and location. Signage at hotel was not very visable. It was a nice place to stay for the price. The rooms were clean and the whole place is not that big, so it was not nearly as crouded on a Friday night like most of the other places.

Friendly staff and comfortable large room. This hotel was close to the Strip, had plenty of things to do. Gambling in every place you looked. Sports bar was a plus with all of the sports being played in one central area. Staff was nice, no matter what time of night you needed something.

"wonderful hotel, very friendly staff in the reception area, convience store and players club. Very clean no frills room which I expected, beds were comfortable, Pool area was clean and comfortable. Overall, an experience that would rival one of the mega-hotels in Las Vegas"

"...is telling friends, family and colleagues you're staying at a place called ""Terrible?s"". My room was nice -- Clean bathroom, fresh-smelling bedding, good bed, plenty of towels, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, airport shuttle (alas no internet). Lobby/hallways a bit worn, but who cares? Convention Center & Strip each a 20min walk for those of you who like to walk. For a conventioneer on a budget the value is unbeatable. Try the ?king cut? prime rib in the restaurant. Get an inside-facing room if you can. "

The hotel was nice and the staff was super friendly. I felt like they looked out for me. It was pretty far to walk to the strip. Also, I didn't specify a non smoking room so that wasn't good. The hotel over all was a nice experience. We figured that we weren't there to sleep at a hotel but to see the sights. If you're a non-smoker, make sure you specify a non-smoking room otherwise it will feel as if you were smoking all night long when you sleep.

Nice room, and good beds. Could hear walking above and the food was terrible. Great place to stay if you're a slot player on a budget, and don't mind ordinary food at the restaurant.

We are repeat visitors to this nice, off the Strip hotel frequented by Vegas locals. The new Tower rooms are very nice for the price and the outdoor pool and its landscaping are hard to beat. What we love about this place is it's not filled with tourists, we normally have the pool all to ourselves, the casino meets all of our gambling needs and best of all, there's an on-site convenience store with reasonable prices on a variety of beverages.

It was available on Superbowl weekend. The smoke-free floor/room still smelled like smoke. It was a decent enough place to stay. The room was clean, nice beds. It is conveniently located to many nice restaurants and not far from the strip. The tables were pretty fun, and the dealers were very nice.

We go to Vegas regularly, probably 3-4 times a year. Thought we'd save some money so we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights for our large party at Terribles, but after the first night we were so disgusted we left and went to the Mirage. Appallingly awful customer service and the most repulsive facilities. Incompetent staff at check-in could not find our reservations even though we had our confirmation printouts; the lady huffed and puffed and acted as if it was our fault she had to go the back and find our reservation; took 45 minutes for them to clear it up and we were not offered any sort of apology or remuneration. Hotel and casino are dirty, dank, dingy, old, and really just plain skanky. Cheap old furniture, fixtures, saggy old beds, grimy linens from the 80s, gross carpet, thin walls and doors, dim tunnel-like hallways. Lots of yelling, sounds like fighting and people shuffling loudly in hallway throughout the night. We did not feel safe or comfortable with our children and elderly parents. There are some things one is willing to put up with to save some money, but this was just not worth it. Definitely not a place for families, or people looking to have a good time and relax. Book elsewhere!

This was the worst trip I have ever taken to Las Vegas. Terribles is not worth 5 dollars a day let alone * dollars a day. The hotel is dirty, old, and smelly. The pool was filthy and disgusting. A bunch of college kids were playing sailboat . Not safe. In my opinion spend a couple extra dollars and go to the hilton or bills gambling hall. They don't smell.

Was there for 3 days last week. Everything was fine with this hotel. Maid service needs a bit of work. They didn't clean the floor on one day. The food there is good and get a lot for the money. The Breakfast buffet was a great price being 4.99 all you can eat is well worth the money paid. I would stay there again anytime. Workers are friendly with the hotel quests. The beds are new

This place is in need of a major overhaul. It's pretty old and It's off the strip but close to the bus line which is great for $1.50 per day. The buffet was horrible but the Cafe was great. If you're a smoker you'll be in paradise if not wear a mask because 2nd hand smoke will kill you. Walls are very, very thin but the rooms are clean. Construction going on so if you plan on sleeping early a.m. you're out of luck. It's good for the price if you're not looking to spend a lot of money on hotel rooms. Staff was friendly waited 5 mins to check in/out.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and taxis readily available. The food in the restaurant very poor & unhealthy, elevators filthy, noise level from other rooms high. I don't know what to say here. The hotel looks very run down, in need of major attention. Looks poor and dated. The location was convenient, near the convention center and the staff was helpful. 3 stars, absolutely not. more on the level of motel 6, sorry.

We book the room for 3 people and when get to the check-in counter, they said we only book for 1.. it's only after we show the printed confirmation that they said ok.. i bet they would have asked for more money from us if we did not show that confirmation. in the room, there are only 2 sets of towels (although we book the room for 3 people) and when we tried calling the number listed in the room, we were transferred from one place to another.. and they were not being polite either. the last person said that they will send someone over to deliver the stuff. we waited for another hour and no one came.. so we just gave up

We got in early and they let us check in over 2 hours early. The tower room with the king size bed and 42" TV was great. The buffet left something to be desired, but if you join the players club you get 2 for 1 coupons. Tip the waitresses in the casino everytime and your glass will never be empty. They remember and come back often. Its on Flamingo so you can drive to the strip in less than 5 minutes. You can park at Bills casino on the strip on Flamingo for free and you'll be at the corner where Bally's, Bellagio. Paris, and Ceasars Palace are located and just to the north is the Venetian, The Mirage , and Treasure Island so it is very conveniantly located just off of the strip. Would definately recommend it.
