Friendly staff. The suites are very nice and spacious. We really enjoyed the hotel. Service for breakfast at the hotel was slow so we went around the corner on the second morning for breakfast.

Location, location, location. The staff was hit and misses. The location was perfect for a short weekend getaway. Conveniently located between times square, 5th avenue. And central park, we didn't have to waste time or money taking cabs long distances or figuring out the subway lines. The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food/drinks were excellent quality for the price. The hotel front desk was friendly on the way in, but not so friendly on checking out it was the same person so maybe they were just having a bad day? And last but not least, the room was clean, comfortable and had a high def TV.

The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. The staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. Location was superb. The price was amazingly low for Manhattan. Everything was just perfect. Would stay again and again.

The suite was well laid out, nicely furnished, comfortable bedding, great TVs. We had to wipe hair out of the shower before using. The Blakely is very quaint, not in the least chain like traditional furnishings, very New York. Great location, several blocks to Central Park, six to Times Square. Yet it is located in quiet area with easy access to cabs. Lobby is very small, which became crowded when more than one guest needed service from the desk.
