Fantastic location for access to Manhattan restaurants. Had dinner nearby at Aureole (new location). Shower in room was wonderful.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my handicapped mother. The rooms were too white and looked plain. Colorful walls would have made a huge difference. The staff at the Bryant Park Hotel were wonderful. They worked very hard to accommodate my handicapped mother. Our room was huge for Manhattan standards. We had two queen beds and a sofa in our room. Since the hotel overlooks Bryant Park, our room had a gorgeous view.

Stayed there for a recent weekend trip. The location is PERFECT, and within walking distance to theatres, restaurants, bars, and shops. Staff also was very nice. Guests are young, hip, and attractive. And the best part was ""VIP"" access, albeit expensive, Cellar bar. The only downside, which for me was a major one, was that the rooms were much like a Ramada Inn with an uncomfortable platform bed. Starting at * a night, I think you might be able to find better for your money

Yes, I checked out after the second day of a seven day booked business trip. This is the epitome of style over substance. I have never experienced worse service or a more inept staff. It was 10 p.m., I had worked all day and was dead tired, and experienced my ""last straw"" moment when room service refused to substitute french fries for taro chips. Really. That's the truth. They lost in the neighborhood of $3,000 because they refused something as simple as substituting french fries. This happened after two days of terrible service. Oh, and would it kill them to add a drawer or two in the rooms? For people staying over one or two days, there is very little storage space for clothes.

Well some people prefer location but customer service is critical for me and the Bryant Park lack in every way. The only person showing customer service consistently was the doorman. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!

I came to NY on business and stayed at the more expensive W on Lexington when the company paid and moved to the more reasonable Bryant Park Hotel when I had to pay over the weekend. Because of the sleek decor, boutique size, beautiful location, friendly staff and surprising large standard room, I'll be back!

The bathroom was fantastic. The contemporary decor of the room felt spartan and dorm-like. The bed was tiny and rock-hard. However, the bathroom was to die for - huge tub, large sink with lots of space on the surround and stone-lined shower enclosure. Very strange to have this bathroom attached to the cruddy bedroom.
