we stayed 1 nite after a cruise from southhampton - checked in with 2 adults and 2 children - room was old and 2 single beds - my husband had called london directly and was told hey could put a rollaway in - we assumed 2 full or queen beds plus the rollaway- but no, only 2 sgl beds and 1 rollaway or 1 king allowed due to fire laws - even the mgr said he could do nothing - we were forced to purchase a 2nd room at a discounted rate but nevertheless we incurred a huge additional fee that was unexpected - we could have been properly accomodated at the hilton or renaissance (which i had cancelled) - the location was near the marble arch and the top end of oxford st near the edge of hyde park - not much going on over there in that section - it was very quiet and the hotel was small with 2 old elevators - not what we had expected from a hyatt - seemed like a 3 star us hotel - very basic - staff was nice and concierge helpful but they could have assisted us better since they gave us wrong information!

Good stayReally nice hotel, fantastic service and very clean. We stayed with our 3 year old daughter to take her to see London and the location for this was fantastic - easy reach of a lot of places we wanted to go to.

Exceptional hotel. Spaceous rooms, incredible service, delicious food. This property sports the best Regency Club that I have ever visited. The Churchill cigar bar was a fine addition to the property and the server was very helpful.50% of the hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, but they have done a perfect job hiding that fact. I didn't realize it until I was told.

didn't think we would be ever staying in such luxury, The Hyatt Regency-Churchill is a superb hotelWe were 3 generations of one family, myself, my daughter and grandaughter. It was a special 12th birthday surprise for my Grandaughter, Danni. The Hyatt Regency Churchill is in such a convenient location, yet only a few minuites from the bustling Oxford Street. We asked for and received (an upgrade we think) a room overlooking the Square, nothing was to much trouble for the very polite staff and we all were supplied with thick fluffy white dressing gowns and slippers. We would definatley recommend this hotel and would like to stay there again ourselves.

"We stayed here for a splurge; what a luxury! The room service was the best food I had ever eaten in a hotel, and no matter what we ordered -- on or off the menu -- it arrived almost instantly. Service was gracious without being fawned over. Accidentally placed in a smoking room, we were rushed out to an UPGRADED non-smoking room with profuse apologies and a free fruit and champagne tray arriving 10 minutes after we were settled. If I could afford it, I would stay here on every visit to London."

The Hyatt is easy to get to and as you would expect has very good food and service. It is an expensive hotel but is very well located. My only real criticism is that breakfast at Â£25 is bordering on ridiculous - it's only the same breakfast as you'd get anywhere else.
