This is not a 4 star hotel by international standards. Regular double rooms are so small that we had to store empty suitcases in the bathroom. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in room despite saying so on their website. The view from the room was a derelict burned - out house. Most of the staff (with honourable exception of 6th floor cleaning lady and the lady on desk, were surley and unfriendly. Most serious of all was neglecting our instructions for wake-up calls on 2 occasions, especially this morning for 4.00am in order to catch our flight home! Would NEVER go back!

The hotel is conveniently located in Sultanahmet, close to the major attractions, but in a quiet street. It is at walking distance from Topkapi, and very close to the tram stop Gulhane, perfect for those who want to explore the city by tram. Though the bathrooms can be nice, the bedrooms are pretty comfortable. The panoramic rooftop restaurant serves delicious food, and for a reasonable fee one can enjoy Turkish bath, sauna, and aromatic (and energic!) massage. Finally, for those who prefer to eat out, the little streets around the hotel (like Ibni Kemal Caddesi and Udavendigar Caddesi) are full of restaurants. Free Wi-Fi internet and extremely friendly, professional staff contribute to make it a very enjoyable hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel!
