You're paying for the location on this one. I found the hotel itself perfectly fine but the room was tiny & freezing cold. It had a temperature control panel but it didn't seem to do anything. The room contained a cupboard that must have housed the air conditioning or similiar because something was making a loud mechanical buzzing noise. I was late for an evening appointment but would have asked to change rooms. I can say the room was clean, in good condition, the shower was lovely and had good quality spa shower gel.

A very modern hotel. Satff were attentive. I stayed in a single room which was very small but well decorated. The only problem was I was very close to the lift and could hear the 'ding' every time the lift doors opened which was annoying when I was trying to go to sleep. Didn't have breakfast but I did have a Chicken Ceasar Salad and Chips for dinner through Room Service which was nice but not outstanding.

I have stayed at this hotel previously and had a good experience however, this stay was disappointing. The room was so small that you couldn't open the cupboard door wide enough to fully open the fridge door inside. The room was dusty and there was a used tissue on the window sill which was never removed. The pillows look pretty but are absolutely useless to sleep on. The check-in lady was too busy chatting to her friend that she coded the keys incorrectly. The room keys were de-coded again during our stay resulting in having to go back down to reception late at night after returning from the theatre. That said I would only stay again because the location is excellent and if they had a special offer on the price. I would definately ask for a better sized room next time.

The rate thru Cheaptickets got us a very small room with interior building view which was bad. They nickel and dime u on everything. The staff not friendly and they hung up on me when I call to confirm my reservation prior to travel. They wash the hallway carpets everyday with odors and chemical vapor throughout the day which put my allergies in overdrive. Location is great, close to everything. Corner Coffee shop is great place to get a coffee, sandwiches and hook on free internet. The site staff were great.

need to add an extra lounging chair, etc in the room - no place to sit except one office chair at the desk - internet should be complimentary - choice of a king bed should be complimentary

The Check-in queue was very long and upon reaching the desk no check-in was able to be done due to no rooms available. Left bags with concierge came back several hours later to only queue again for another hour. To top it off, I was under the impression of staying in the hotel, but then was told I was not in the hotel building itself but at the next building along. I had no assistance to get the suitcases to the next building and had to struggle getting my bags to the next building across the street and up a few number of steps. The Receptionist at the building saw I was struggling and didnt even get off her seat to help open the door. No guidance to the room, unless you asked - so another words no "Welcome" or acknowledgement and assistance as I had to get my own bags to the 6th floor room. During the stay I received at 1am a call from someone saying and in these exact words "you order room service" in which I replied "no" and he just said "oh" and hung up. The room itself was adequate and fine. The service, however, at the reception in the building was appalling - rude and not helpful at all. Concierge Team were fine, but I wasn't staying in the actual hotel itself - but I could not fault them. They were the only ones that could call themselves proper hotel staff - who were using their initiative to help people waiting at their desk and going up to people to help them - so I do commend the Concierge Team. Would stay again and give another chance due to good location. General Manager do something about the issues!!

I recently stayed at this hotel when I was in London. It is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel in London. It has an excellent gym for and is located very convenient to the Marble Arch tube stop. Would definitely stay again and would have my friends and family stay here too.

Our room was located in a building separate from the main hotel, yet convenient to Oxford/Park streets and subway. The room was modern and roomy - great bed and bath, in-room safe, wardrobe. The staff provided incorrect information on the use of (and the charges incurred from) the use of phone cards from the room. They were icy when this was brought to their attention, even when no refund was being requested - we simply recommended the information given to future customers be accurate. Inappropriate, stony attitude to a customers recommendation to improve service.

We loved this hotel! The decor is VERY modern and exciting. What ended up being more statisfying than our surrounding decor was the comfort of the bed (even though we had to push two twins together). They beds are definitely down and feature luxury sheets and comforters. The one draw back was the bathroom shower. The shower was designed so that you had to get inside to reach the shower knobs, and in the process hit with cold water. We would stay here EVERY time we go to London.

Don't stay in the main hotel. It's tatty and their attenpt to make it modern just doesn't work. We were next to the staff lift and didn't get any sleep. Complained and got moved to the executive part of the hotel down the road which is excellent. Offered us a free bottle of wine which took an hour and 4 telephone calls to get, but nice.
