The Waterside Hotel offers comfortable bedrooms with modern facilities catering for everyone from families to the business traveller. The hotel has a fully licensed bar, coffee shop and restaurant. Guests also benefit from full use of The Galleon Leisure Club within the hotel which incorporates a swimming pool, fitness rooms and Health Spa. The Waterside Hotel is privately owned and set in 8 acres of landscaped gardens on the banks of the River Mersey with easy access to the M56M60 motorways, Manchester Internatinal Airport, Manchester City Centre, Manchester United and City football stadiums, The Trafford Shopping Centre, MEN Arena and Manchester Central Convention Centre. PLEASE NOTE: Some bedrooms have a wet room style ensuite with a shower only. All the hotel bedrooms are currently undergoing refurbishment which is due for completion by the end of 2010

I was very disappointed with the hotel particularly the hygiene and believe that this is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, should perhaps be closed down in my opinion

Very tatty, small, damp smelling room, on ground floor. function going on in the restaurant so were kept awake with noise from people smoking outside and leaving well after 2am.But the restaurant and room service food and staff where both excellent.

a bit dated yet functional. health club was a useful addition to the facilities. this made it good value for the price. location very good.

The hotel is clean and efficient.Rooms are small but ok for short stay.All services worked well.There are extra facilities available for those who have the time to use them.There was amix up with the accounting system that took some time to sort out.There is some noise early in the morning from aircraft and the adjacent motorways,.but it was not too intrusive.

nice enough double room, if a bit small, but then for £50, can't grumble. There is a constant drone from the nearby motorway if your room faces towards it, but nothing major that better double glazing or a pair of ear plugs can't solve.
