Hotel Aiken is located in the heart of historic downtown Aiken. Built in 1898 it has recently undergone extensive renovations. It is Aiken’s only full-service hotel with our fine dining restaurant Cuizine on site as well as our award-winning bar the Polo Tavern, which offers live entertainment every weekend and is open seven days a week until 2.00am. All rooms are hard-wired for free high speed internet access and offer all the modern amenities in a charming historic environment. Beautiful historic hotel, WILD nightlife at the Polo Tavern, Excellent hot breakfast buffet included in room rate. But - if you're travelling w/ young kids, no pool, not a real kids environment. It took about 10 min for hot water to reach our room once the water was turned on. The room itself was not well-restored as it could've been for the price. Location for town/ horse events is excellent. All employees/service excellent. If just my husband and I , I'd come back again, but not w/ kids.

The staff here is WONDERFUL. I come to Aiken and park at the hotel and walk everywhere. I love coming here! The bar is such a fun spot!
