The staff were exemplary for their service, responsiveness and initiative. Lobby was being remodeled, Outstanding location for this top end hotel. The staff is superb and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are generous by London standards and then suite bathrooms are a nice blend of modern touchs.

Tastefully decorated. Modern and hip. Although staff were friendly, the service was slow. Had to wait for room, bellman bags delivery and food delivery. It's nice if they can get their service up to 4 star standards (speed and efficiency). The check in area is a bit bizarre in its location - very unconventional. But overall it was modern, rooms nicely appointed and great location.

The bar in the lobby entrance gave the hotel a non-Hilton feeling. I requested a 5 star hotel and The Trafalgar is a 4 star hotel. The Trafalgar is situated in the square. St. James Park is located close by and you can walk to the National Gallery and to the theaters. We had a room facing the garbage and office buildings so we kept the curtains drawn. The bar in the lobby is great and draws a young crowd.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's walking distance to a lot of London sights. It is also convenient to public transportation. The overall theme looked like a boutique hotel such as color lit elevators and retro art pieces all over. I thought that was pretty unusual for a Hilton. They really did not have a typical lobby that you would normally find and the check in desk was very unusual. There was no counter, instead you would be standing next to the front dest agent who had his back against you while working on the computer. You will not find any sign of Hilton either. We had to double check before letting the cab go it is was indeed the Hilton.

The hotel location is perfect! The property was very clean and the service was great. The only place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of London.

Spacious and quiet room, great location, rooftop terrace with great views of London. Loud bar music upon entrance to hotel, very modern and minimalist décor. This hotel is ideally located in Trafalgar Square with very spacious rooms and great bathrooms. The loud pulsing music that plays from late in the afternoon through the evening may be bothersome to some as they enter the hotel.

Excellent location for sightseeing in London. The bed is so lumpy that I could not get any sleep. This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff I met on this trip was much more pleasant and helpful than compared to the previous trip. However, the bed I had on this trip was so lumpy that I could not get any sleep. The location is fantastic for sightseeing - right across from the Trafalgar square.

Modern high end facility. Bath was exceptional. Door to adjoining room could use more soundproofing. I recommend this hotel.

Location. The lobby was under construction. This stay was a disaster. Only after bitterly complaining on two occasions did the manager get his act together. In fairness he was terrific in making us feel better by giving us a complimentary night in the hotel and a bottle of wine. Phone didn't work for three days housekeeping were poor and the construction in the lobby should have been told to us. If all was well, this hotel though quite nice and is not a five star hotel but it is four stars.
