Excellent 5 star hotel with a staff that was top notch. Perfect location for holiday shopping and seeing a show. We loved the suite and everything about our stay. Simply wonderful !!!

We loved the hotel and the people in it. We were willing to pay more for a memoriable stay, and that is just what we got. At check-in we enquired about upgrading to a suite, because it was our 20th anniversery. After a few moments the clerk said we were upgraded at no additional cost. The suite was beautiful, with 12' domed ceiling and chandelier, marble bathroom and great furnishings. The conceirge desk was a great help in navigating our first visit to New York. The Sunday brunch was the perfect conclusion to a great trip.

Location can't be beat. Overpriced for everywhere outside New York. Small side door type entrance in the same Waldorf Astoria complex gives you economy feel, overcrowded restaurants, very basic room amenities, a block away lies much cheaper alternatives.
