Top service, quality and location!Fantastic apartment. Would never bother with hotel again. Close to tube, just over the bridge. Supermarket next door, so we stayed in, cooked, drank wine and basically chilled out in a lovely apartment, which was so needed after a busy day in London. Staff in reception incredibly friendly, security in apartment block likewise. Carparking spot on and cheap! £5 total for all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday. Will be using again definately!

wedding guestsI was very disappointed that our room was not available on arrival as I had specifically phoned in advance to confirm we would be able to get changed into our wedding outfits in time. I was tempted to reduce the customer service rating accordingly but the manager did try to find us alternative accommodation although in the end we had to dress (five of us) in a single bedded appt and leave our bags to be transferred. I didn't have time to wash my hair as I had wished! The manager also explained that the outer key did not work very easily and this was to lead to a poor night's sleep : although our bed was comfortable, returning revellers were unable to manage the faulty lock and so my daughter & I were awake from 5am as they made lots of noise immediately outside our bedroom window! The moral of the story: if you know there is a problem get it fixed!!A convenient location so I might be tempted to try again!

Decent rooms and perfect for a weekend breakBit of a struggle to find reception - it's behind a gated entrance round the corner from the accommodation itself and not particularly obvious.Smart room with kitchen and everything you'd need for a short stay: supermarkets nearby, easy access to the city centre, all clean safe and secure. One minor point is that the description gives the impression the kitchen is in a separate room - it's not, but the fridge/freezer is quiet enough not to disturb you.

Thnk Hotel/Appartments Tower Bridge - Very reminiscent of modern student accomodation. Cleanliness excellent and efficeintly managed.Apartment is very functional albeit without any real character. However, for the cost , there should be no real surprises here Lack of air con. is a drawback as rooms were extremely warm and stuffy, mainly due to the build up of the temperature following a very sunny day in London . Its location on a very busy Tower Bridge Road makes for a disturbed nights sleep if you keep the windows open to try and ventilate the room.Otherwise good value for money but don't forget your earplugs

An enjoyable stay although slightly annoying that reception didn't believe me that there wasn't an iron in the apartment. She did grudgingly find me another. Bizarrely no bin bags provided but dishwasher tablets were. Also I \"couldn't find\" the hair dryer, more annoying than essential. Close to local supermarkets for food and about 10mins or more from the tube.

Think Tower BridgeVery clean apartment that had all the kit required for a short stay (dishwasher, hob, oven, toaster, fridge, microwave, utensils, crockery etc). A 'welcome pack' showing how some of the machines worked would have been useful. I could not workout what the symbols on the over meant. For the price (£99), I would stay there again.

Clean & Convenient at a fair price - let down by a couple of annoyances- Nowhere in the shower to put shampoo etc- VERY small towels- No air-con, so it was too stuffy to sleep with the windows shut but with the windows open the traffic noise kept me awake-Cheap feeling fitments - some cupboard doors didn't close and on opening the windows some of the slats of a blind fell off - easy to fix back up but irritatingAll in all ok, but not brilliant. Clean and comfortable and a good base especially if you are staying a few days and don't mind eating out or coooking for yourselfThe washing macheine was excellent - almsot silent so I could wash clothes overnight without disturbing my sleep

like having your own flat in center of LondonThe studio apartment was basic but in a good way - white walls with wooden floors. Very light and airy and the furnishings modern and tasteful.Had to report a broken toilet seat and shower head but these were fixed within hours - great responsive service! As a female, I did miss having a full length mirror and also difficult to dry your hair as sockets no where near any mirrors.....Great alternative for staying in a hotel - hightly recommended!

Abysmal - what are they thinking of?Almost bare, grubby, neglected flat with scuffed walls, scratched floors (with streaks of paint all over them) and a layer of dust over everything. Carpet was filthy. Like a student's digs. Thunderous traffic outside, broken air conditioning (replaced by ugly floor fan!) and the hardest bed I have ever slept on. Pillows made of thin, useless foam (a real bugbear) and a duvet cover that was not only stained but torn as well. Reception indifferent. Request to be moved answered with, 'no, we're full'. Are they joking? Over £100 to stay in a building site? There are far better aparthotels out there. Avoid this if you are a proper business traveller. More suited to students on the razz who just need to crash for the night - if they can afford the stupid prices! Truly appalling.

I arrived early before the official check in time and before my apartment was ready but the staff were really helpful and got the room prepared for me within half an hour. Nice spacious apartment, the only downside being that there was no air conditioning but I slept perfectly well with the window open and the room fan on. Free wi-fi in the room was great too. A good base to have with only a five minute walk to London Bridge tube.

Beware if the weather is hot!!Although these are nice apartments, they are lacking any form of air conditioning or even basic windows to open.I know that it was hot when we stayed, but the apartment we were given had very large windows, but only one could open just a fraction (2 inches max) and the temperature in the room was 38 degrees C. It was unbearable and my wife went into a panic attack. We went back to reception and they relocated us to another room that had a window that could open wide.It is unbelieveable that in such a modern building that there is no air conditioning, so I would recommended this only if it is cool outside.

OK. But noisy and hot!A large amount of noise from what I guess is a centrail air system - though not air-con. Apt had a free-standing a/c machine which worked fine but made a lot of noise and needed the window open for the vent. Bathroom had an electric heated towel rail which I couldn't turn off so the apt was like a sauna all the time. TV channels 3 & 4 didn't work due to an aerial fault. Good job The Apprentice is on 1 & 2! Free Wi-Fi was good. No nearby tube stations. Sorry, won't be staying here again.

Think Tower Bridge An excellent apartment in a great location. We chose this apartment as an alternative to a hotel; it enabled us to have a central London base much cheaper than nearby hotel prices. Our apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The apartments are located 10mins walk from London Bridge tube station and 5mins from Tower Bridge; this is an ideal location for a sight-seeing trip.I would definitely stop here again!

Good location for Tower of London, Design MuseumGood value - we paid £79 each night - but transport links are difficult to rest of London without a lot of walking, except the CV1 bus to Covent Garden. The twelve minute walk from London Bridge would be without luggage and in good weather. Flat was as described but only one bath towel and one hand towel and the TV was scrambled on many channels. Fan in kitchen would not turn off so kept me awake. Phoned reception on my mobile ( in another building around the corner - no internal call possible ) and they promised to bring extra towels and solve fan and TV. Returned in evening and nothing solved. Annoying and would not stay again but it was good value. Have stayed in many similar apartments and would rather pay more to have good customer service on site.

Basic and cleanThe apartment was clean and had all the appropriate amenites, but the checking-in process was not the best experience. The receptionist forgot to give me the code for the main front door to the apartment block! As this building was a few mins away (and I had all my luggage!) I wasn't best pleased. Thankfully a kind security guard checked my papers and let me in! The room could have done with a 'handbook' - how things worked, where things were, etc in the same way firms like Bridgestreet do. I struggled to find the hairdryer, the TV/cable didn't work properly and it took me a while to work out how to turn the heating down.Overall, for London, it wasn't too expensive and it was clean. It's not incredibly close to a tube station, but I would stay there again if I had business in the area.

Fantastic alternative to an hotel especially for a group stay.I have used other apartments when staying away before and these are as good as any I have used before...... with one crticism!! We were in the main building and because of the atrium design and use of wood, metal and glass it is very noisy all day and most of the night. Because they attract group stays there was a constant stream of groups coming in through out the night up to 4.00 am.

One Night StayIf I hadn't been stopping for one night only I would have been dissappointed. The room was clean and very new and undoubted value for money compared to hotel room rates in London generally but the rooms in the apartements were without soul and there is no air conditioning.Probably suit more than one person looking for well located budget accommodation.

Romm 503. 153 Tower Bridge RoadRoom Ok although a little tired. This room has full length windows and the heat from the sun was unbelievable, The towel rail in the bathroom was constantly on full heat & unable to turn off or down. There was a free standing air conditioning unit but it was not man enough to keep the room cool. All the edgeing strips from the kitchen units had come off from the heat. This room was a superior room but it was the same as the room my son booked as a standard room. Only difference was we had a cooker & they had a microwave. Bathroom was very small & shower not easy to adjust - water was scorching. There was no housekeeping service for the 4 days we stayed. Had to make own bed etc.. It was adequate for what we needed but was a good 15 minute walk from the station. Would not stay there again.

Think Tower BridgeWas a fantastic place to stay. It is really conveniently situated (for us) just q0 minutes walk from London Bridge and there are loads of things to do around Tower Bridge. From our room we had a great view of the London Eye. The room had everythin you could need and was really good value. If you wanted to visit London on a budget you could use it as a self-catering base. The room was really nice and it sort of felt like you were borrowing a friend's smart flat for the weekend.

Good value. Made a difference from a hotel. Would have been nice to have seen the cleaner at least once during our 4 night stay. Apartments generally clean, but would have been nice to have fresh towles each day if required. The rooms were very modern in style but in places looking a little tired. Nothing to complain about tho. We would stay again. Parking is available onstie (limited) at an extra ₤5.00 night, recommend you take this as parking elsewhere would be impossible.

Quality at a price you can't complain at.I was initially concerned about booking this due to the lack of a reception in the building, but am so glad we did. the room was stylish , large, modern and well equipped. For the money it simply can't be beaten. The location was the key factor but we will stay again because it was so good. Why pay more? The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice, with a good powerful shower fitted. It had a decent sized lounge area with comfy sofas and a balcony. All mod cons including internet access and kitchen area. Perfect for a weeked away in the city.

Great value apartment, close to Tower BridgeVery quiet 'loft conversion' style room (bare brickwork) in building (the maltings) away from the main apartments. Free wifi a major benefit and kitchen a bonus if I had been staying longer. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby - close to 'London Bridge' tube/rail. Well equipped even if just a shower. A Mixed BagFantastic room, well designed and furnished. Great location, with transport links and amenities close by. Everything was let down a bit by missing blind slats and smeared windows, which made the room look a bit grubby in the daylight. Also the reception staff were among the least friendly and unresponsive I've ever encountered. My greeting was ignored by both staff, even when I repeated it, and I when I joked \"Have you had a bad day or something?\" I got a sullen \"Just a long one, but that's no excuse really\". No it isn't. At this price I'd like the courtesy of being acknowledged when picking up the key to my room.

Think again before stayingRoom had no air conditioning & no window worth opening ( a few inches at ceiling height). A summer stay, with room exposed to afternoon sun, saw the temperature in the room reach 30C to 40C day & night. Had to stay out until late and not use any of the cooking facilities. Even with a second fan only the hot air was circulated. Unbearable at any price. Staff showed little or no concern and refused to venture up to our room to realise what we were expected to cope with until we had the fan delivered. This person was pleasant and very sorry for us but was unable to do more.Overall service was poor and with late night check in we were never given the code to enter building. etc etc.

Good for a business stayThe apartment did what it said on the tin. The check-in process is a bit unwieldy - check in at the office in one apartment block, then get sent down the street to another - would be annoyed if I'd arrived with a lot of luggage. Was able to get a couple of hours work done in the peace and quiet of the apartment, the wi-fi was working well. Thought the place was a bit spartan - white walls, wooden floors - some imagination with the decor would have gone down well. But for the price, good value for money.

The only negative things i could say is that there wasn't enough hot water for all 6 to have showers in the morning, and the boiler was rather noisy - however wouldn't stop me booking it again.

Brilliant value for money. The standard apartment was a really good size and had everything you would need. Only issue was that the room was boiling and the window only opened a little bit so even with the fan they provided we couldn't sleep very well as we were so hot. It has a big hot water tank in the room which didn't help.

oven dilemmaI always opt to stay at think apartments when I stay over in london as they are clean, convenient and very accessible. This occassion I was allocated a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment which was recently built. It was abvsolutelky lovely and could not fault it. The only fault was the ovens are so complicated to use even with a manual, which resulted in me nearly setting the place on fire, for this I am very sorry. Security were quick to respond to the alarm and soo helpful and understanding and did not make me feel any more the fool than I already did. Thank you.

.I was in the other block this time, about 200m down the road. It's more convenient for the local sainsburys, but further to walk in the morning to get back to the train station. The apartment was tatty. The iron didn't work and as I only realise this at 10pm, I didn't fancy walking back to reception to get a replacement one. The shower was luke warm and the remote control didn't work very well. Also there were no cleaning things - cloth or dishwasher tablets. However it's a bit of a lottery as it was better last time I stayed.

very very hot.....when if first entered the room it was 28 degrees (this was at 7pm)after i asked what could be done it was recommended that it turned the heating off.... did that and no change took three days to get another room and LOTS of phone calls, it wasn't even a very hot week so no idea what these rooms were like when its a hot summer!

Lack of privacy spoils an otherwise good appartmentAppartment was immaculately clean, pleasant size, modern and comfortable in a very quiet block, but... it was a hot day and the lounge window opened onto a busy main road and noisy elevated railway. With the window shut the noise was not a problem but it was too hot. An appartment on the other side of the block would be very peaceful. The bedroom is on the side of a quiet glass atrium with floor to ceiling windows straight onto the walkway. There were no curtains, just a wooden venetian blind which did not close enough to either prevent light coming through or people seeing in. The problem is not unique to this appartment as I saw someone else getting into bed in the appartment opposite, and in the morning when the cleaners stopped outside the bedroom window just as I was coming out of the shower I had to run for cover! One thing everybody is entitled to is privacy! Final comment - I arrived back to the appartment after the outside gate had been shut and although the code I was given was apparently correct, the instructions did not say I should enter a * before the code and i had to wait 30 minutes for someone else to arrive. I am sure the instructions will be amended.

Modern Apt. in a Good Neighborhood We liked the locale very much. We considered the window view of London Bridge rail tracks entertaining; and with the window closed, it was quiet. The 180 degree view included Tower Bridge. Borough Market is close by.The modern room was efficient. It needed a couple of small repairs. We wish they would recycle materials, since they appear to be a forward-thinking operation.

Great appartmentsI stayed a few times there already an plan to do it again. The appartments are ussualy very good but be aware that some of them have a direct view on a busy railtrack. They usualy make no fuss changing it.Some deatils are not perfect but the value for money is definitly there (ie, would make sense to have some salet/pepper/oil in the room). Plenty of room to park a car (or a bike) but they charge you £5/day for the privilege. again good value at the discounted price

Great self-contained accommodation, good price for this area. Nicely designed space, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. It lacked a hair dryer, and a bit of washing up liquid and sponge - there was a dishwasher, but only stayed one night, so not worth using. Slight nuisance having to get the key from one block and then walk round the corner for your accommodation.

More like a hotel room than an apartmentI have stayed in several companies' serviced apartments in London and was very disappointed with this one. There was no hob or oven - just two combination microwaves. All very well if you know how to cook with one, but there was also only one dish that I would be able to use to cook with. The layout was also very odd - like a studio flat but with a bedroom area. The TV was in the bedroom, not in the \"lounge\" - which was part of the kitchen. On the plus side, collecting the keys was very easy - the concierge was very polite and helpful. The area was also fantastic and there are two local supermarkets close by. The rate is extremely reasonable considering the area - I just hope the other apartments are of a better standard.

Lovely place to stay (Once you get in)The apartment was spot on, everything you need for a night away. Well maintained, very clean, modern and in a wonderful location. Butlers wharf/ Tower Bridge is just around the corner for a lovely drink/ meal. We had a night out in Borough Market which again is only a short walk away. The only let down was checking in. The service wasn't great and the whole operation seemed to be in chaos. Person after person being told their room wasn't ready, that they were full up, only for an available room to miraculously come up once a fuss was made. We arrived at 3pm (an hour after check-in) only to be told that our room wouldn't be available for another hour and a half, and that they were full up. After making it obvious that this wasn't good enough we were given the choice of two rooms (one being twice the size of the other). The room we stayed in was great, but we still don't know how it compares to the one we paid for.

Neat and tidy idea!We loved the main room in Think Tower Bridge - lovely and roomy and light - a great space to sit and chill out, perhaps have a leisurely breakfast. It was noisy when the windows were open but other than that very nice. The bed was really very small for a double and the bedroom having a large window straight onto the corridors/halls was not good for privacy! The blinds didn't close very well and leaving the window open for air felt rather exposing... It was, on the other hand, very quiet and peaceful on the weekend that we stayed even though the hotel seemed quite busy.On arrival we were not really given any information - merely a key and directions to our room. There was no information in the room either. I had to return to reception to ask how to get in and out of the gates after hours - I was then given the code..The rooms were very clean and comfortable (apart from the bed!)

Comfortable accommodationWe found the accommodation very clean & modern. Unfortunately the smell of smoke greeted us on our arrival. The bed was very comfortable and there was enough room for a couple although hanging space was very small if one is staying for a reasonable time. The kitchen didn't have any cooking utensils - bit hard to flip an egg with a knife or fork- but was otherwise well equipped. We had unfortunate trouble with our lighting which was annoying. Access to transport was good and it was a pleasant walk to the Tower Bridge. Would go back again if there were some improvements.

1 night stay at Think Tower BridgeEven though the hotel apartment complex was still under construction, the stay was pleasant and convenient. We were lucky to get the apartment at reduced rate because of the construction. We stayed in an apartment classified as \"standard\" and found the finishings in the room and the bed to be of cheap quality. If you're on a tight budget, his is a good place to stay for a week or more because there are limited kitchen facilities. The location is interesting. I think it would be particularly attractiive to people between the ages of 20-34 years.

Modern, all the appliances. Not luxury, but generally good value for money. Was fairly impressed with the little studio suite (#108) we had. It had 2 microwaves (???), apartment sized fridge, a dishwasher, clothes washer, toaster, kettle & iron. Modern and furnished low-budget Ikea style which was great except for the small and uncomfortably stiff bed. Oddly, there's no full length mirror or mirror that's near a plug for hair appliances. (I straightened my hair in the microwave reflection.) And it could use some personality on the bare walls. Also, the place is showing signs of wear on the scuffed whitewashed walls and chipped, badly aligned cupboard doors. Generally good value for money as we paid £85. Wouldn't want to spend much more on this room though. Would be good for a few sharing (There's a sofa you could kip on.)

Air con!!!The apartment was good, well laid out and the quality was good - however, in London, in summer, in Wimbledon week, in 32 degree heat, no air con, no temperature control of any sort, not even a window that really opens to ay degree to get air in is not really acceptable. It was an oven and no sleep could be had, ruining what would otherwise have been a great trip. I would recommend this place strongly - but only on a cool day!

This is not a Hotel but serviced apartments . But very nice and well appointed , but you need to be prepared because you have to fend for yourself. I stayed 2 days but I think I would have got more benefit if I had stayed a week or more. If business takes me to this part of london again for a week or a fortnight I would go for this sort of accommodation . The room(s) were very spacious and well appointed there was a better equipped kitchen than I have got at home and the bathroom was just luxurious. The down side was that I had to go shopping for breakfast and the evening meal and though this was not too big a problem as there a 3 late night supermarkets within 5 minutes with only a 2 day stay I landed up carrying food home as well as my luggage . Also parking was a little difficult at the 161 Tower Bridge road apartments

Nice idea - badly implementedGreat idea to have your own space but it doesn't help if the place is falling apart. Don't be fooled by the lovely brochures. The flat we were given wasn't the cleanest, had peeling paint, a rotten bathroom (1. Toilet wouldn't stop flushing - which meant you had to open the concealed cistern and tug pipes to get it to stop, it also started flushing by itself in the night and the noise wakes you up 2. Shower: wood rotting, mildew and the shower handle was broken - so we were unable to shower the first night. This was fixed but broke 2 days later) and the bed is only a standard double, so difficult to sleep in if you are used to bigger beds. Paying £89 a night isn't worth this. I'll be in a hotel next time.

disappointing breakI really expected great things from this appartment. On the plus side it was very handy for London sights, taxis etc and the apartment had obviously cost plenty to furnish etc, but on the whole it looked dirty and grubby, kitchen doors falling apart, the floor pitted and marked, the walls stained, poor cleaning detail etc etc.

Take That Was pleasantly surprised by the room. Had read other reports of things being slightly dated but this room was spanking new and very clean. Was easy to find and check in/out was simple. Reception looked after our luggage whilst we went out on the Sunday too. The appartment was in a super location for Tower Bridge and easy access to city via the boat/tube at London Bridge. Only downside was no mirror in room to allow girlfriend to do her hair and for safety no plugs in bathroom, so maybe a point o look into for hotel chain. We could also not get into room until 4pm even though you can check in at 2pm

Cheap but you wouldn't know it....A wonderful suprise to see how the fit-out of the apartment was high end, compared to the cost. Everything in the apartment worked, apart from the A/C but the simply action of opening the window provided other means of ventilation. The only reason Customer Service received 1 was due to the night guard being un-helpful.Apart from that I would say that it was a very plesant experiance and would happliy return.

Reception gave us the wrong keys so a bit of a run-around to get in. Directions to the aparments were a little obscure and didn't count the number of roads to cross correctly so it was more luck than the directions that we found the place.Clean & tidy, reasonably quiet but can hear the neighbours. Only negative was that even with the heating off, it was extremely hot - and this was a chilly early May outside too.

Think Hotel ReviewThe accomodation was adequate and parking facilities were excellent, however, there was building work going on and we had drilling from the minute we arrived at 5pm on the Monday evening and it started again at 8.30am in the morning. I did mention it to the reception but they were not interested, I felt as though they had had my money so they didnt care.I would not stop there again.
