Luxury city baseA fabulous hotel ideally situated in beautiful Venice. Staff so helpful and friendly. Rooms are all beautiful - we were upgraded but even the standard rooms are lovely. The hotel is small - 37 bedrooms - but spacious. Only ate breakfast in hotel as there is not a full restaurant (snacks are available in the small bar) but Venice has hundreds of restaurants and cafes to choose from. For a real treat this is an excellent place to stay without breaking the bank if you can get a deal.

Very happy reviewI cannot really find fault with this hotel and very much enjoyed my stay. The staff I encountered were very pleasant and attentive and all appeared to be multi-lingual so communication was never a problem. The room was very well specified and even included a combination safe which I found very useful (although beware that the contents may get a little warm as it is situated above the minibar fridge and the heat output from that seems to pass up to it). The room was always cleaned to a very high standard and I found that, if I went out again later in the day, a second visit would be made to clean cups and tidy up. There was a flat screen TV with access to European Sky Sports which enabled me to view a crucial football match in comfort. The hotel is a few minutes walk to a waterbus stop on the Grand Canal and I used this many times. After a few days, I realised that access to the main tourist sites (e.g. St Mark's Square) is probably quicker by foot anyway. It's about a 15 minute walk to there and less to the Rialto Bridge. The Strada Nova with various restaurants and cafes is very close and convenient.Upon arrival, I was given a warm welcome and a map of the city with the hotel and places of interest pointed out.The hotel was generally extremely quiet at night so I didn't experience any problems sleeping. There did seem to be a workman making noise in the building opposite while I was there; however, that is not the fault of the hotel and it was only during the day when I was usually out.You will enjoy your stay in this hotel.

Short walk from the Rialto bridge, near a main street but a block off it so it is quiet. Helpful, friendly desk staff spoke good English. Room was very nice but bathroom cramped. Would stay there again!
