Large comfortable guest room. Lobby and casino area too large, confusing, and congested. Approaching the hotel by car there was no indication of where one should approach and park. After consulting with staff, they directed me to the parking garage. Locating the lobby from the garage was difficult and confusing. Lobby area was noisy making check in process difficult. The room itself was large and comfortable, with a large bathroom including a shower and soaking tub. The hotel had many restaurant choices available.

The suite at the Venetian in Las Vegas was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were surprising and welcome. These included a terry bathroom, shaving kit, loofah, toothbrush and paste, bath salts, a bathroom vanity plus lighted and magnified make-up mirror, and the standard shampoo and creams, all of which were complimentary. I did have two issues with the room. One was the lighting, it was very poorly lit and as a result the room, which faced a brick wall, was very bleak and dismal even with all the available lamps turned on. My second complaint was that there was no refrigerator in the room. Reaching for a cold drink or stashing a doggie bag was out of the question. I undertand that the mindset of Vegas hotels is that the less time spent in the room the more time is spent gambling but no refrigerator? Silly and annoying.

The Master Suite I had was fabulously decorated and nicely laid out. For a 5 star hotel, I should at least have free internet but didn't. The staff from Valet car park to front desk were top notch. I was only there one night so I can't speak to the cleaning staff other than my room was spotless upon arrival. I had a master suite that did not disappoint. Bi-level and wonderfully appointed, it reeked of luxury. I was disappointed that I had all this luxury but no free internet ($9.95 per day) and no coffee maker in my room.

The Venetian was amazing - we found all our interactions with staff to be friendly and helpful, our room was wonderful with lots of room, it was very clean, very luxurious (it had a tv in the bathroom!!) and overall could not fault it. There was so much to do just in the hotel complex - shops, casino, gondola rides on the canal which flows through part of the 2nd floor and just so much more. The Venetian is located near the centre of the strip and is in easy walking distance to other hotels, casinos, shops, shows etc. We would certainly recommend this hotel. The only negative we found is that the casino permits smoking which made it very unpleasant to spend much time in there.

Overall this is probably one of the best hotels on the strip in Vegas. Memorial day weekend I'm sure is always this way, the strip was PACKED. The only problems we had were finding a place to sit at the pool and the noise from all the wasted college kids around. Noise and drunk people are to be expected in Vegas haha. Would definintely stay there again, would be interested to see how things were on a non-holiday weekend.

Venetian was a beautiful place to stay and would definitely stay there again. A few suggestions for fine-tuning.....1) This was our second stay at this hotel and both times there was a long delay for our luggage to be delivered to our room after check-in. Made numerous calls, each time we were told our luggage was on its way. If told the luggage was going to be more than a few minutes, we would have been patient. 2) Room carpet needed cleaning and walls needed a touch-up. 3) On busy nights, rooms next to elevators could hear elevator bell ALL NIGHT LONG. Those rooms need better sound proofing. 4) Check-in was confusing. Beautiful music, very relaxing, calming atmosphere and we enjoyed the pools and dining options were excellent. You don't even need to leave this hotel to enjoy your vacation.

The Venetian Hotel is one of the top Hotels on the Strip. This was our first trip to Las Vegas and we took a look at all the other Hotels there but the Venetian Hotel is by far the best to our opinion. It is a 5 star hotel with only suites inside. We booked one of the luxury suites. The Food is great and has all in every price range. We would definitely stay there again.

A 4 day escape with my wife from our 3 and 4 year olds. Rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything was great except for when my wife was in her restful bath and an unidentified band aid came floating by. After notifying the front desk the band aid was removed from the tub but was later discovered on the floor beneath the vanity - we laugh about it now. The hotel was very gracious and accomodated us w/ $50 food/cocktails credit. We loved our stay and look forward to returning to this tranquil escape amongst a very active strip.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was pretty and comfortable. The shampoo and lotion were great. It was really quiet in the morning so no one woke us up early. The French bakery in the lobby floor is just excelent. The coffee is very good and the pastries are delicious. I liked the fact that the hotel is in front of a great mall and very near of the forum shops. I definitely recommend the Venetian.

I've been to Vegas several times and this was my first stay at the Venetian. This was the finest hotels that I've stayed at. When I walked into the hotel, it just smelt so lovely. I didn't want to leave the bed because it was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept it. The white sheets and comforter was so soft. The three TVs was awesome especially the one in the bathroom, I was able to watch while I got ready to go out. The only con was that I could hear what was going on in the rooms while walking down the hallway. While in the bathroom, I could hear children crying in the rooms down the hall.

Beautiful hotel. The staff was rude. The staff was confrontational. There was blood on our comforter. Management wouldn't do anything except have housekeeping remake the bed. Then they offered a car to take us to the airport the next morning, but oh wait, when we go to them to pick us up, they don't know who we are. Terrible experience. Never will go back.

The Venetian was one of the most luxurious hotels we saw in Las Vegas. We enjoyed the room. I did like the separate vanity area from the double sink - gave me space to get ready. Nice separate bath tub from the shower. It was very clean. We ate mostly at the Grand Lux as it offered variety and more vegetarian options. We enjoyed the shops, gondola, spa, all the amenities were very nice. A few things we did not enjoy which I think are true of ALL hotels in Vegas where the sales people with their free shows at the entrances of the hotel, the smoke in the gambling area, and how very long you have to walk to get to your room. But I do not think this is something unique as when we went through all the other major hotels, they had the same issues. Would be nice to have a non-smoking gambling area, easier access to rooms from main entrance, and no sales people. However, Venetian is most likely the only place we'll stay in Las Vegas as it is a 5-start that truly is 5-star quality.

The Venetian Las Vegas is beautiful! The ceiling artworks with all the gold leaf framing and details are awesome! The artworks on the ceiling of the entry portico is so very impressive in the midst of all the other hotels with glittering lights and neon. The room was well appointed, comfortable and with a luxurious king bed, too.Tao Beach pool area was okay but too much noise. The 10th floor Venetzia Pool Garden is much better and soooo calming. a great shaded place to swim, soak, relax. great variety of quality cuisine on Restaurant Row. Excellent food and good value at the Casino level cafe. Desserts by the Cheesecake Factory is an added bonus. In general, we had a tremendous stay at the Venetian and look forward to staying there again.

The hotel was so wonderful! We felt there was so much going on and available to us that there was almost no need to leave. There is a variety of restaurants, and shops. The decor is beautiful and entertaining in itself. Staying at this hotel is an 'experience'. The staff are accomodating and warm. We have a wonderful time and seeing the Phantom of the Opera was an opportunity I will repeat! When we arrived, we found our room had a regular sized tub so we upgraded and were so happy with our roon! It was 800 sq. feet and absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have been happier with the choice. They agreed, it was the best in town!

The Venetian was a nice hotel but I did not use most of their facilities as to say wether it deserved 5 stars or not. Clean and comfortable the only thing I could fault in the room is the lighting. It is more mood lighting than functional. Puting makeup on in the bathroom at the large mirror is almost impossible but they do provide you with a makeup mirror on the vanity in the bathroom. Overall, it was nice but I'll try another hotel the next time I'm in town.

We were very satisfied with the room and we even took all breakfasts in the room because the view could not be beat. It was a bit of a curiosity that a coffee-maker is extra in a room that has everything else, but it was only $4 for the whole stay so we splurged on that too :). The location of the Venetian is perfect right in the middle of the strip close to everything. You could spend a whole weekend just within its walls , the Grand Canal Shoppes and Restaurants are great.

The Venetian Hotel was very visually stimulating. The grounds were lovely, however, the construction cranes and contant welding and banging right above the pools was very disappointing. The room was lovely and enjoyed having 3 tvs, even one in the bathroom. The people were polite and it was very clean. I would like to mention that the hotel pipes in some kind of perfume/air freshener that is quite strong in the lobby and hallways. There is a lot of walking involved and was pretty exhausted the first day until we figured out the best way to get around since it is diffult crossing the streets. Our overall experience was a good one and would definitely visit Vegas again. Great dining and shopping!

First off let me say that this was our first trip to Vegas. The Venetian is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there. There were some moments in which they disappointed us. They didn't have a bellhop available for us and I had to carry our bags to our room. The Venitian is a maze of hallways. We misunderstood the directions and went to the same room # on a different floor. I inserted my room card and the door OPENED!!. Thank God they had the door latch on or it could have been very awkward! We finally got to our suite and thought that it was very pleasent except for the shower. This was a special needs suite and although I can appreciate the obvious covenience of having an open shower for a wheel chair bound individual, for me it was down right drafty. From there on it was nothing but peaches and cream. We had a phenominal time. The staff turned out to be very attentive and helpful and we would recommend the Venetian to all.

From check-in 7/26/09 to check-out six days later, our experience at The Venetian was top-notch. We were able to check into our suite 3 hours early with just a five-minute check-in process. The Bella Suite was very big, especially for Vegas standards. Granted, the top line restaurants were expensive, but that is to be expected. There were plenty of less-expensive eating choices at the food court. Until the weekend, the pool area was uncrowded and family-friendly. All in all....we'd stay at The Venetian again!

We stayed in one of the Venetian suites for 5 nights and found it very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge....double sinks, plus a separate makeup table, big tub, and separate shower. Never ran out of hot water and the water pressure was decent, too. The only inconvenience was having just one small closet. We could view the pool garden from the window, had sufficient towels, pillows, and the airconditioning worked fine. But, whomever wrote about the scent in the lobby and hallways was right....it was very overwhelming, but you tend to forget about it after you're in there for a while. And fortunately, we noticed that the smell did not reach up onto the floors where the rooms were. And lastly, we always had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, so I can't speak on the housekeeping service.

I booked two suites for my family because there are five us. two adults three children. Prior to my trip I called the hotel to make sure we were getting connecting room because of the small c to find outhildren. First the lady said they could not gaurantee me about the connecting rooms and then she for $ per day per room she could reserve two rooms side by side. I refused to pay the additional & We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm tired from our all day journey to hear the same line we could not our rooms side by side. I argued with the desk clerk for at least 10 to 15 minutes about the situation then she went to see a manager. She came back told me they just cleaned two rooms side by side and we could have those since we have small children. I was about to leave the hotel if I did not get my rooms. travel on line should be more attentive to the needs of the customer.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2009. The room that I was given was not worth the $* that i was charged per night. The bathroom sink was damaged. The sheets on the beds had stains on them. The sheets as well as the comforter had HOLES in them. The beds also had hair on them. The lightbulbs in the bathroom were out. The lamps in the living room were broken. The handles on the nightstands were broken. I reported all of this to the manager. Some of the issues were corrected others were not.

This was the first time in Las Vegas for my wife and I and our experience at this hotel was excellent. The Concierge was first rate. We visited them quite often and they were extremely helpful and couldn't have been any nicer. The hotel is huge. Our first day was spent just exploring the Venetian and connecting Palazzo hotel. We felt the signs showing directions could have been a little better as it is quite easy to get lost. The restaurants are a bit pricey but the food is very good. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing as it was a very small selection of pastries and juices. We highly recommend visiting Madame Tussauds Wax Museum which is connected to the hotel. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We stayed on the 8th floor and found that we never had to wait more than a minute or two for an elevator which was very convenient.

The Venetian was very elegant and provided a wonderful experience for my one night stay in Las Vegas. The room had a nice sitting area separate from the bed and bath. The bathroom was very nice as it had both a shower and a tub. One unique thing about the hotel is they had some sort of incense running through the ventilation system in the hallways that was very calming. It was so nice and the staff were awesome, made me feel like a million dollars! There were only a few downsides...it isn't cheap to stay (but well worth what you spend because there is alot to do and see in one place) if you are in your room while housekeeping is cleaning the doors have hinges that slam shut so it could be loud at that time, and it is the worst place on the strip to gamble we lost alot, but left to got to a casino down the street on won all night...so if you stay don't play

I was so excited to stay at the Venetian, because I've wandered in and out of it before. Unfortunately, they were doing construction on the floor above our room, so the first morning was miserable, since they could not move us until 1 pm. Vegas is NOT the place that you want to be woken up by a jackhammer, especially at the Venetian, where rooms are not cheap. Two phone calls later, we were moved to a different room and had $150 in credit (to be spent at the hotel, not in the shops and not credit to my Visa). Another downside is that the gym is not included ($35/day) and that the pools were extremely crowded. They did not require a room key to enjoy the pool, meaning that everyone in town must have been there!

This was our first visit to the Venetian, located on the strip in the heart of the action. The room (suite) was better than we expected. Our room was in the Venecia Tower facing the pool and gardens area, very nice. They say it was 700+ square feet and was very spacious with a living room and Italian marble bath. We did eat at a few of the restaurants in the hotel as well, all were good. We also visited the spa (canyon ranch) for massages, very nice. You really never have to leave this hotel if you don't want to, they have it all. We did walk the strip and after visiting several of the other casinos, realized that we were staying at the best one.

The first night in the Venetian was fine until in the morning they resumed construction in the room above ours. It was extremely loud and we lost a lot of sleep from this ultimatly ruining our Saturday. They moved us to another room but that required us to pack again and take time out of our day to make the move. In the new room it seemed as if any noise in the hallway found it's way into the room, so it was very loud. While checking out I brought up these inconveniences and was hoping for some type of compensation but was told that they could do nothing for me. I will never stay at the Venetian again nor will I recommend it.

from the moment you arrive you are unable to escape the overwhelming Italian stule beauty and details of the gorgeous hotel however the pervasive floral scent pumped in everywhere (even outside) soon becomes hard to tolerate and breathe comfortably, at first it is pretty but that gets old.The rooms (all suites) are absolutely fabuluous;sumptuos decor, huge bathroom with tv and every detail is truly luxurious, there(even remote controlled shades!) but we found the bed very hard and uncomfortable and for that reason will not stay there again (plus the fragrance everywhere) However, great service, great food, lots of pools, and pretty gardes but you should know you can walk to the neighboring Palazzo pool to get sunshine as venetian pools do not get much in the winter months which includes October.

Wonderful, gorgeous room with really comfortable bed, 3 t.v.s, a huge bathroom. It was a little loud, we could hear our next door neighbors as though they were in the same room.

Very friendly staff. Poor lighting in rooms; Uncomfortable access to valet and self parking. The Venetian offers an excellent way to expereince Las Vegas. The staff is most welcoming and the accomodations are 5 star. The restaurants are another outstanding expereince. One can truly get lost and feel trasported to Italy at its classiest at the Venetian.

They had great restaurants and management was helpful when you reached them. The swimming pools had no sun until mid afternoon, and the nearby construction presented a devastating sound.

We stayed at the Venetian Las Vegas for 3 nights. We had to call Housekeeping 3 and 4 times per day to get our room serviced and cleaned. When we complained to the front desk and the Concierge, we were told sorry as if we should have expected that kind of service. The staff was not very accomodating and I expected more from a 4 star, 5 diamond hotel. We will not recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Top notch hotel. Luxurious and comfortable. Better monetary deals on the strip, but they could hardly be nicer.

It is a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service in all areas from check in to room service and finally in the restaurants and casino was top notch. Our Suite (all rooms are Suites) was huge with a step down living room area, a comfortable king sized bed and very large marble bathroom with a tub and glass enclosed shower. There were three flat screen TVs in the Suite with one in the bathroom. The only complaint that we have was the lack of dresser drawers. There was one cabinet but it had only large shelves which made it difficult to unpack for the 4 days we were there. We were well treated and are looking forward to another visit to the Venetian as soon as we can arrange it.

We walked up and down most of the strip, visited several of the casinos, checked out Cirque du Soleil Ka show, went clubbing, and gambled. The Ventetian is a very nice hotel in a good location on the strip. It's surrounded by other nice hotels and top-tier shopping. The king suite we had was beautiful. It has marble floors, marble bathroom with separate shower, 3 LCD TVs (including 1 in the bathroom), and a comfortable king bed. The only problem I have with the hotel is extremely poor design of the room doors. All the doors (at least on our floor) were designed to SLAM shut. There was no way to close the door without slamming them. Since there is no isolation or insulation to the hallway, this is incredibly annoying. People come and go in Vegas at all hours. The slamming doors are easily heard in the room and will wake you up if you don't wear ear plugs (I'm a heavy sleeper too). Needless to say, we didn't sleep very well. Otherwise, the room was very quiet and we couldn't hear anyone in the other rooms. This is really unfortunate since the rest of the room is top notch. Also, try to get a room higher up since its farther from the pool where they blast music from 10am to 8pm.
