Got a room right behind reception which was a little noisy, but not too bad i imagine on a Fri or Sat night the street noise would be a bit louder, great position for what i needed (walkable from both Victoria station and Westminster).

Hotel was clean but very very basic. I did not take breakfast as there was no facility for English breakfast. Due to noise from builders could not go to sleep until 23:00hrs.

Everything we expected. We booked on-line and trusted previous reviews to satisfy our concerns. Our trust was validated by our personal experience on value for money, accommodation and bathroom facilities. Service was friendly and supportive and we have no hesitation in recommending the Victor Hotel for simple and cost effective accommodation.Mike & Angela Hidden

The hotel accomodation is typical for the area, small and cramped. This in mind, I've rated the hotel quite low as there are hotels in the same road and with the same AA 3star rating, which are more clean and comfortable. Scuff marks on bedroom walls, lack of storage, it just needs tidying and updating.

Very disappointed, we paid £99 which was supposed to be half price (on their own website it said double room from £69) We were in the basement with bars at the window, dark and grubby looking, all needed a facelift. They phoned us 2 days before to say they were over booked but when we phoned back apparently it was sorted, hence the room we got! Spoilt our couple of days in London. Breakfast was very basic. All in all an experience we would not like to repeat and certainly would not recommend.

Noisy if you're in a room on the main road and very very small breakfast room with just continental choice. However, for its location in proximity to Victoria Station it's handy. Good for overnight stays if you want value for money.

Continental breakfast - good choice and adequate.Room was very clean but basic. However that's all I needed for an overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again. Couldn't believe the price. Keep it low and keep rooms full!

Can hear the conversation of the people in the adjacent room and quite noisy outside (people gather and talk loudly in the street), therefore, some people may find it hard to fall asleep.

Like many hotels in Victorian terraces in London the room was quite warm day and night (in June). At least a very fierce fan was provided. The breakfast was simple but nicely presented, with reasonable choice and good coffee.
