Rundown facility badly in need of an upgrading. Halls are dingy, rooms not much better. Housekeeping failed to replace supplies that ran out overnight. Fire alarm malfunctioned in the middle of the night, so the following day it was disconnected. Not much comfort sleeping in a hotel with no fire alarm system the next night. Location is quite distant from rail station, Metro, and principal sights of Rome. All told. Try somewhere else.

A pleasant stay, the hotel is quite clean and comfortable. The staff were nice although recomended an awful restaurant! Breakfast was as expected, basic continental cereal also, there is a nice courtyard to eat outside if you wish. The only disapointment with the accomodation is that there is not a Jacuzzi as listed on this site.The hotel is located just outside the city walls however all the tourist sites are a bit of a trek, there is a tube station about 5 min walk away which is only one stop from the main Termini Station so all the city is accessable including the airport which can be accessed by the Leonardo express.Would recomend to others as good basic accomodation.N.B. we were also charged for mini-bar items which we did not take, this was resolved though.

Great hotel if you want to be out of the busy downtown area but within easy reach of it, easy to drive to and then park at hotel and use public transport. Small rooms and bathrooms but clean and comfortable with lovely character. Breakfast is basic continental. Alberto was a great help and made us feel very welcome.

The service was excellent, for breakfast fruit and/or fruitsalad should be offered to make breakfat more complete, otherwise I was very pleased with the hotel.

the staff were wonderfull. but i had the room beside reception and the elevator and dining room, which was VERY noisy. the room was very clean, a good size,and cheerfull, with a very modern bathroom. but the bathroom window didnt close or lock. a little worry, but there all the same. would recommend the hotel to anyone who didnt need to be in the centre of rome.

Only downside was the airco, which is central and can only be shut off in case it is too cold (which it was, probably due to the high temperatures outside). But that was no unsurmountable problem for this lovely villa combining nostalgic european atmosphere with modern comfort and good location.
