The hotel is very easy to find. It is a short drive from Maidstone town centre. The room was very clean and modern in style. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. Food was excellent, however you need to book the restaurant in advance to secure a table! It is obviously popular. The gym facilities are also excellent, and included in the price. Value for money definately.

Rooms too hotEveryting about this hotel is good value for money but I have stayed here 4 times and each time the bedroom has been far too hot (average 27 degrees). Not sure what can be done - desperately need air con.

Annoying!!Having stayed at Village hotels before we knew to expect a nice, clean standard room and good service. Once again this was received. Unfortunately 2 points made our latest stay rather poor. The first was the shower screen leaked so the floor was soaking by the time you had finished. Secondly, and more annoyingly was at 7.30am on Sunday morning there was some sort of refurbishment inside or out (consisting of loud hammering) that ruined what was supposed to be a nice relaxing lie-in!!!!

an excellent place to stayWe've stayed here before .. and would do again. The room was fine, very quiet given that the location is near a motorway. The food at breakfast was excellent. The leisure centre is good too. Value for money is excellent

Very pleasant stay. Room, clean and modern and (most importantly) quiet, even though there were guests next door. Staff were accomodating, letting us have a later check out as we were off to a weding and wanted to leave getting ready until the last min. We had a good meal in the restaurant and the service from our waitress was warm and frendly, we ordered wine which had to be retrieved from the cellar. It took about 20 mins and although this didn't bother us, they deducted it from the blll due to the wait. Breakfast the next morning was good, varied and unhurried. Unfortunately there was an unexpected fire alarm the morning we were due to check out and the whole hotel was evacuated. The staff dealt with it calmly and with care, giving blankets to children as it was chilly in the car park. The whole thing was handled very well and we were allowed back in after about 30 min. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice and bright and clean, with very friendly, helpful staff. The room was a standard double and was just that standard, nothing bad, nothing great, but the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that was very disappointing was the quality and quanity of the food, the food was very bland and there wasn't a lot of it, breakfast was ok, but not a lot of choice. The second night we ate at the beefeater next door, which was cheaper and better tasting food. Over all the hotel was good value for money as the leisure facilities were very good.

The hotel was really easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable although my only moan was that the pillows were a bit hard ! Anyway the pool etc was lovely and the gym facilities looked amazing. Breakfast was nice and better than most of the Marriott hotels I have stayed at. The bar was clean and reasonably priced and serves a decent selection of snacks...ribs, chicken wings etc. The restaurant was well staffed and service was good although it felt like a hard sell on the entrees by the waiter. All in all a pleasant stay and they are enforcing the smoking ban a month earlier. I would stay there again.
