I booked the hotel online and asked for two double beds for 4. In a week or so I confirmed that we would have two double beds and was assured that was the case. When we arrived around 6 PM our room was NOT ready. We went to eat. When we returned, we were told that we would have a room with one king bed. We told them that wasn't what we wanted. They said it was the only option for us. Needless to say, we weren't happy campers.

Closeness too strip - easy self parking, casino was small and not crowded. Carpeting and decor in public areas could do with an up grade. Hotel easily accessible and close to strip - within walking distance of most attractions on strip - self parking was a plus and while the rooms and public areas could do with and upgrade - (decor and carpeting looked old and worn - I liked the fact that the casino was smaller than average and less crowded on the weekend that we were there. Brunch in the hotel while a little pricey was good and plentiful.

"The staff was wonderful and everyone was friendly. The beds were great and the rooms were nice. We were looking forward to a good night's sleep after being stranded for over 24 hours. Unfortunately, we had two barking dogs in the room next door that went on all night and a construction site outside our window that started at 2:30 a.m. If you are allergic to pets as I am, or don't want to take the chance of getting barking dogs next door, don't stay here. I wasn't aware of their pet policy when I booked. Otherwise a great place and we got a very good rate. "

The room was very nice - wonderful, comfortable bed, etc. The only thing missing....is a fan in the bathroom. AFter a shower, etc., the mirror stays fogged up for quite some time. My daughter enjoyed the robe, and I liked the bathroom shelves below the vanity. The onsite dining facilities and fitness center/pool were not used. Yes- would definitely recommend and stay again.

Westin Casurina is just a short 2 block walk from the strip, and away from the majority of the noise and crowds. The rooms are clean and completely updated with all the amenities you could expect at this price range. There is a nice pool located above ground on the second floor and of course a casino on the ground floor. The only thing missing in the westin is a restaurant, but the nearby monorail station offers easy access to all of the restaurants and casinos on the strip. Also, because the Westin is just off the strip it's very convenient to grab a cab and go to restaurants or other attractions not on the strip.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The room did not have an iron and the pool was a little small. I very much enjoyed my stay with a very comfortable bed and easy access to all facilities.

Nothing at all. Lust a disaster of a vacations. Make sure that you call the hotel before you arrive there as they have a habit of overbooking the hotel and then making guests wait in the lobby for 5+ hours.

The hotel was clean with upscale design. The bell hop was very nice and helpful. The hotel charges a $15 service fee. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The location was within walking distance of the strip. The pool/spa area was very nice. Most of the staff was helpful. I strongly recommend the service charge be disclosed to guests upon check in by the attendant and not on a little note card slipped into your room key envelope.

The hotel room allocated to us on arrival was clean and comfortable, although the aircon unit was particularly noisy. The staff were pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. Our two complaints : 1) The first day we were there the room was not cleaned and we had to call to get clean towels after being out all day. On at least 2 other occasions we had to ask for clean towels and \ or a bath robe as they had only left one in the room. 2) The concierge desk was quite often empty and we had to find information on hotel services, local maps etc from other sources. Our praises for : Professional catering and very good restaurant staff Overall a pleasant stay and one at a hotel two blocks off the strip at non strip prices.

The conference center was nice, hotel rooms clean with complimentary water. The biggest annoyance was very spotty internet access. I was there for a conference and I could not access the online resources the majority of the time there.

"For the price this hotel was very nice. Rooms were very relaxing and plush feeling. Good central strip location only 1 block from the strip, but you have a great view of the strip from the rooms. Would stay here again."

A wonderful surprise! Good Hotel at a GREAT price. We have paid a lot more for a lot less. Staff was friendly and the room was immaculent. The windows were cloudy from exposure, but there isn't a lot to view out of them. The casino is quieter than others and we were confused as to if were were in Buffalo Bills or Terrible's Hotel. A perfect stop on the long ride from California after work. Even factoring the extra gas into Vegas, it was still the best deal we have ever gotten on a room. Already planning on staying there on our next trip to Vegas!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Las Vegas for business. It is close to the strip but miles away from distractions. I love the Westin brand...the beds, showers, & ammenities are truly ""heavenly"". The staff was professional and great to work with.

The hotel is not directly on the strip which was my choice as it allows you to be only minutes from the action but still get away from the traffic and noise afterwards. The check in was polite, friendly and professional. Though they had no king size beds on the higher floors, I was asked if I would instead prefer an offering on the 3rd floor. Upon opening the door I was surprised that just as he stated, the room included a king size bed with down comforter, double shower head and full desk with both wireless and wired internet (all Westin standard fare) but also a treadmill, dumbbells, jump rope, exercise dvds and player as well as fitness beverages.... YES. IN THE ROOM! As someone who is always time constrained, not having to leave my room to get my workout in was a great surprise and clear differentiator. That in conjunction with a menu of healthy food choices was a real oasis in a city that is not know for health conscious offerings... BRAVO WESTIN on continuing to raise the bar and find ways to surprise even the most frequent traveler.

Non smoking. Mandatory service fee. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, but beware of the mandatory service fee. This was not explained up front, but we were charged during checkout. We had no idea we'd be paying for services that we didn't know we had access to. Very disappointed.

Loved the included free water. Valet parking service. $15.00 service fee. Great hotel friendly service and staff was awesome! Pool was well kept, late night was quiet, great for hot tubbing with friends old and new alike. Walking distance to the strip.

This is one of the very few smoke-free hotels in Las Vegas, which I love! Not only are the rooms smoke-free but so is the lobby and casino; the entire hotel for that matter! The rooms are great. Nice, updated, modern rooms. Very nice bed. Slept very well. No noise. Bathroom is good size and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good. 24 hours so you don't have to leave the hotel to eat. It is a bit pricey, but what isn't in Vegas. Great food, nice atmosphere, and again, smokefree! I am staying again next week for business and I will come back here with my family when I vacation. I usually stay at Bellagio and pay $400 a night, but I like this hotel much better.

I liked the casino. This was a great hotel, just off the strip in Las Vegas. I was very comfortable, with a quick and early check in and nice amenities. The parking was free and easy. It was just a very positive experience overall.

Free nightly happy hour from 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm, included free beer, wine and appetizers! The telephone operators had short, abrupt attitudes. Excellent location, comfy down filled beds. Rooms were a little small, would not recommend a group of girls stay, not enough room to get ready. But clean, front desk staff was great and polite, helpful and courteous. Except when our toilet overflowed, no big issue but the hotel operator was slacking and was not sympathetic to the situation. Took them a while to get to mess. Only flaw but hey, things happen. Pool is way too small though.

Clean, courteous staff. $15 a day service fee not included in price. Good location, walking distance from the Strip. Not a VegasY vibe in the hotel despite the small casino. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Not happy with the $15 a day service fee on top of the room.

The staff at this hotel was very rude...if you need something, they push you off to another person, (then another, then another, etc....). My husband and I were at the pool on a 112 degree day and no one would get into the pool becuase it was so dirty

The West Inn was a very nice place to stay! It was just a block from the strip and a great location. The rooms were very clean, nice and quiet. The cleaning ladies forgot to replenish the coffee in our room both days but other than that, no complaints. Prices in the restaurant are a bit high as well as Starbucks prices and gift shop--expensive prices. The casino was small but big enough for some gambling.
