The bed, the room was nice, the hotel new. There is only valet parking and it is expensive. Nice and new hotel, located pretty far from the central of Washington. No public parking.

Clean, no mention of Priceline. Very clean good hotel. A little out of the way for Wash DC. Hard to find without a GPSS.

Very nice hotel. Only have vallet parking which is like 20 a day. They do not offer a shuttle to some of the main attractions around town like other hotels do. Did not eat there because overpriced food. Bed was delicious! It was so comfortable! Only problem we had was 9 am maintaince that did not end until 5pm! When you're trying to get away from 2 kids who wake you up at the crack of dawn, it is nice to sleep in and maintance caused huge sleeping problems! Also, only offered one robe and one pair of slippers in room that was booked for 2 people. Plus, when room service came, they took our towels and did not leave any. The view from the room offered nothing. It was a view of the backside of building and roof top. The Westin is a nice hotel but wish we had stayed in DC or somewhere that offered a shuttle service. Would stay again, but only if everything else was booked up. Not what I expected for the price.

Staff was helpful, friendly and very welcoming. The location is very convenient to metro stops and old town Alexandria. The staff is excellent. The facility is very clean and well kept.

Staff was great. The location did not have a nightlife after 10pm on a Friday. Was a great hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is that you would need to travel to find any food or drinks after 10pm.

Flat screen TV. Pool only open 4-10, had to pay for internet and valet parking. Pool was only open from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Charged for internet. Charged $24/day for parking. Not happy with those 3 items.

Excellent location and accommodations. Breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant were over priced. The Westin Alexandria offers superb accommodations in an ideal location close to shopping and restaurants, as well as public transit.

Friendly and accommodating staff. They shut down the restaurant too early. Nice, clean, elegant. Convenient to the Metro, but a little disconnected from Old Town Alexandria.

My wife and I have been traveling for pleasure almost once a month for the last year. We have stayed in over a dozen hotels from different chains; some were 4 stars and we have never stayed in any with less than 2 stars. My wife and I found the Westin in Alexandria to have exceeded out expectations; from the person at the curb meeting us, to all the details you expect in a 5 star hotel, except they exceeded way beyond. The desk person was incredible in making us feel welcome, the restaurant staff were delightfull. The room giving to us was perfect in every way; the bathroon and shower were incredible; and the bed was a dream. We stayed in the Club floor, and to our surprised, the continental breakfast that was included in the stayed, was the best we have ever experienced; the ladies taking care the club room went out of their way to make us confortable. We recommend this hotel to everyone; and you don't have to be rich, to stay there. What can I say; we will be staying in that Westin everytime we travel to the DC area!

Valet staff and doormen were extremely friendly, bed very comfortable. Hotel was clean, staff was great. Valet and doormen made the stay always friendly and ready to help with bags, umbrellas, etc. Initally given double beds, but immediately switched to king.

We needed a vase for flowers and the hotel staff had us one before we shut the room door. Other than the hotel restaurant and a Thai restaurant, there aren't any good restaurants for a good walk. Overall, really nice. Bed and bathrooms where nice. Hotel staff were awesome and helpful. Negatives are the $24 for parking a night and the fact that there wasn't a DVD player in the room.

It was a great hotel, absolutely beautiful, in a fantastic location and the food great. I have no complaints at all. Everything about the hotel was perfect. I wish I could be more critical of it - but truly it was a dream.
