They offered us a choice of room floors. There was a fan running all night. The hotel staff was friendly and offered us a choice of floors for our room. We always prefer the top floor and that was no problem. It was also convenient to the location where we had plans. The only downside was a fan that ran all night.

Beautiful hotel, great location, walking distance to downtown Palo Alto & Stanford. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. May have been smoke in the room or the many people smoking outside.

We stayed in this hotel while in Palo Alto for a family Thanksgiving. The room looked over a lovely courtyard. Bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were large and spacious. We ate breakfast in the dining room the morning we left and the food was very good and service excellent. My only two complaints is the parking is awkward and I had trouble understanding the person at the front desk when I checked in, due to a heavy accent. I booked our stay here over the internet and received a special internet rate, which made this hotel a good place to stay for the money.

Robes in the room, pool, workout facilities, late check out. Daily parking fee, daily internet access fee. The hotel has a great Workout facility with free weights, core balance balls, Elliptical, treadmills, etc. The outdoor pool is beautiful and kept at a comfortable temperature for use on even a cool night. The hot tub was great. I loved the touches of chocolate on the pillow, turn down service and robes in the room. The bathrooms are large and very nice. You are within walking distance of downtown Palo Alto and Whole Foods is just a few blocks away so no need to pay the $5 per bottle of water in the room! Definitely would stay there again.

The staff was superb. Hotels should not charge for wireless internet access. Very clean. Great location, near Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. Staff was very friendly and fixed problems asap.
