Very clean, bed was very comfortable, shower for once had great pressure, loved the view. I liked everything. Excellent location for our trip, very clean & comfortable. Spacious bed, great shower, nice shampoo & conditioner self park was a breeze.

Everyone was very accommodating. They did not have a shuttle that would take us to the airport. My daughter and I had a great time staying at this hotel. The only glitch I had was when I called to be sure that I got two beds instead of one king bed. They tried to tell me that I couldn't change the reservation. I told them "I was following the instructions on the web page, which was to call and make my request for a change." the operator finally said that she would change the reservation. When we got to the hotel, the reservation was still for a king bed. The counter person was very pleasant and didn't have any problem changing our room to a room with two beds.

Starbucks in the room. Huge convention--lots of noise in the hotel. Computer system crashed. Twice, people used a key and entered my room. The first lady looked at me funny--like I should leave. The 2nd group was a couple. Seems the hotel triple booked the same room. Half an hour later the front desk called, apologized and said they needed my credit card and id again. Room service forgot part of my order--I don't think they can handle large groups.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Most restaurants were closed. Clean, comfortable, conveniently located. In actuality it seemed more like a 3 star hotel. Nice, but not at all luxurious. The guest services book included a list of personal items that were available to guests upon request; however, none of the 3 items we requested were in stock.

It was great except for the part that the area was very busy. I enjoyed staying there with my family and will stay there again. I hope that if you go there with more then 4 people though, you will get 2 rooms.

Easy access to other areas in the city. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Non smoking facility. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Easy of check in and check out. Valet parking was optional but easy. Room was clean with upgraded beds and wireless access free. Overall experience very positive and would recommend to friends and co workers.

Really enjoyed staying at the Westin. Clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff. Room service very prompt. Very nice fitness center and pool. Conveniently located, walked everywhere. Restaurant service good, food overrated, although did eat there late in the evening, long past prime cooking hours. Overall recommend and plan to stay again.

We stayed here to attend a concert at the Mellon Arena. We had an excellent dinner at the seafood restaurant downstairs and walked to the show. It was a very nice evening. The bed was comfortable, and the room was adequate. The only problem was the bathroom was musty and the outlets didn't work in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One employee even helped navigate my friend to the hotel when he was lost in the city.

Pros- *clean room, *large fairly comfy bed, *room was spacious*quick elevators
Cons- *self serve and valet parking lots were full so we had to park several blocks away at a public garage - had to carry bags that far as well since the shuttle wasn't offerred until we inquired about a discount or something for the trouble
*very very very noisy - could hear normal conversations between rooms and in the halls, cleaning staff whistled, sang, and yelled back and forth early in the AM
* gift shop closed at 11pm and there we no vending machines or anything to get a simple snack after that - had to use their expensive room service.
*relatively expensive ($210) for one night and definitely not worth the cost
* if you want a romantic night do not go here - the noise in the halls and the water running all night will kill any romantic spirit that you are feeling!

The views from the higher floors were awesome. The heavenly beds are very relaxing. The location is close to everything downtown. Only three of six elevators were working. We had to wait a few minutes for an elevator. I loved the location of this hotel. You're close to PNC Park, Heinz Field and the Igloo. Several theaters are down Penn Ave. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very courteous and professional. The rooms are very large and there's space for lots of luggage. There are 3 restaurants and a pizzeria on-site. I highly recommend the Orchard Cafe. The Transit train is a few blocks away. All mass transit is free as long as you stay downtown. The elevators are slow, however, if you don't mind the wait, request a room on a higher floor so you can enjoy the view during your down time. I will definitely stay here the next time I go to Pittsburgh.

Very clean and reasonably priced. Stayed here for New Year's Eve in Pittsburgh. Thought it was a great location for dining and nightlife. We could even see the tops of the fireworks from our room. Price was more reasonable than other local hotels too.

Nice bed. Rowdy sports fans and restaurant staff. The hotel was nice but not as fancy as I expected, I expected grandeur, the bathroom smelled and they gave us 2 beds when we only needed one bed; the restaurant food was excellent but the staff was slow and inattentive, the manager was terrible with complaints.

Excellent downtown location and helpful concierge. Staff demanded that my son had not request an autograph from a pro baseball player who was also a guest in the hotel. We had a great time at the Westin Pittsburgh. Our family had never been to the city before and the staff sent us to the best places in the city for fun and good food. We walked to Heinz field and PNC park, great places for sports fans. Penn restaurant was excellent! Go Randy land!

Decent location, nice staff, comfortable bed. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, 3+ block walk to cultural district. Very convenient location for a convention attendee but we were there to go to cultural district, which was three or more blocks away and a hike with heels on!

The agent went out of her way to give me a double room on an upper floor as requested. I did not realize they had self-parking until after I parked in another garage. Nice room, great beds, quiet. Walking distance to PNC park, fast food, good restaurants.

The shuttle bus was a plus. No issues with the hotel. Very nice hotel. Centrally located. Nice amenities. We have stayed there before and would definitely stay there again.
