My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend and we figured since it's the forth of july lets take the kids to Bush Gardens so we found this hotel and when we got there the apperance was nice on the outside then we were able to check in early which was real good and the staff was very helpful on getting around tampa, the room was great clean as can be and we were shocked expecially for the money we paid. We stayed on the second floor which I recommend because when you walk out of the room they have beach chairs and tables and it's a nice setting at night. Their are two night clubs downstairs and one serves really good food. Location was great b/c we were right by the base, Bush Gardens malls, eating places etc. I didn't have to worry about my children in the room b/c it was clean and we had a newly remodeled one so everything was nice. This room was definately empressive. We will definetly go back!!!!!!

"This is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. The room had mold on the ceilings, dirty rugs, and a very very small bathroom. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. "

The hotel was beautiful. Close to the airport, mall and everything else! The hotel people were very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel had everything I needed and I cant wait to go back! Thanks!

The hotel is near the Tampa International Airport. It is a decent hotel for a simple one night stay. The bar within the hotel is very nice. It has a nice atmosphere and serves a good menu. The hotel staff itself, except one lovely lady during the morning hours, was pretty lousy. They simply weren't interested in their guest. The rooms itself were pretty old fashioned and smelled a bit awkward. Use it just for a night if you have a flight leaving early in the morning or when you have just arrived. That is it, nothing more and nothing less.

During check in we approached the hotel with great gratification. But as soon as we met the very unprofessional staff it all turned down hill. We were told we had to pay an incidental fee of $25.00 per day during our visit. Nothing of that sort was ever disclosed and considering that when we were in line at check-in an older around 40 was never charged. Selective enforcement is wrong that presumed that we were going to trash the place. Younger guest please saty away from this joint.

We stayed one week in Flordia at this hotel and even though we read several reviews, both good and bad, we decided to stay. We were extremely happy with our stay and had a great time. The staff were especially nice and very helpful. We would stay again.

They advertise many things that you don't recieve, like coffee pot, micro,referigerator, etc., none were available. Each morning a paper is delivered to your door which you have to pay $ for whether you want it or not. Television only has 6 working stations, no sllep timer on tv, all lights for elevator don't work. Warm bottled water in room is $ a bottle. I got stuck in one elevator for 15 minutes because it doesn't work. Doors close, but door open button not functional. Fortunately, someone else pushed the call button and doors opened. If your not into sushi, don't go to their restaurant

I checked in at about 11:30 PM. The staff was attentive but I never heard the word Mister once. I was offered a king bed above the night club (thumping with dance tunes at the moment) or a queen a few floors up. I took the queen with the promise that a room with a king or two doubles would open up the next day (it didn't). I couldn't find one piece of equipment in the fitness center in working condition. I returned to my room one afternoon and found that the room hadn't been straightened up. I finally called the front desk at 4:30 PM and asked for housekeeping. I called again at 5:30 and finally had two maids show up and make the bed and wipe down the room. They forgot to leave towels and I had to call again at around 9 pm for those. At check out, the command of the words yup and nope was impressive but again, no Mister in front of my sir name when I was addressed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

"We were in a pinch and it worked out as a place to sleep, but I would never plan to stay here. It is obvious they have spent a lot of resources on their lobby, but they need to spend more on the updating/ upgrading of the rooms. In addition, we stayed two nights and our room was never cleaned. When we requested additional towels it took greater than 5 hours to get them and they were delivered to us at 1100pm... while we were already asleep. "

It was close to the airport. The furnishings were very run down in the room. We needed a hotel close to the airport to catch an early morning flight, so it was ok, but there were paint drippings on the bathroom floor. The chest of drawers was broken and sagging and it wasn't the cleanest room I have stayed in. the beds were ok. It served our needs for the night we needed it, but I wouldn't have spent another night there.

Not what I expected from a 3 star rate. Decor is very old. Room was not as clean as I would have liked. No fitted sheets.Restaurant was below average. No Room Service. Our pets cried all night and would not eat. Won't go again
