General Description

Wigram House is a late Victorian mansion block - which has retained many of its original architectural features. The hall offers single and twin study bedrooms, all with washbasins and shared facilities at a ratio of about 1 to 6. Fully carpeted, the rooms are arranged in traditional hotel style around pods of bathrooms, showers and WCs, which are never far from your bedroom. There are 3 fully equipped kitchens on each floor for self-catering, supplied with fridgefreezer, a microwave, crockery and cutlery, a kettle, and a toaster. On the ground floor, the tastefully decorated TV loungecommon room is a good place to meet people and make new friends. Clean bed linen and towels are provided and the kitchens, bathroomsshowerWCs are cleaned daily. The Hall has 126 single bedded rooms and 41 twin-bedded rooms with some bedrooms and bathrooms suitable for people with physical disabilities. Note that we cannot accept American Express cards

Accomondation is basic but clean. For a central location very quiet and for the money can't be beaten.Only 1 towel provided and of course no shower gel / shampoo so bring your own.

Fabulous location right by Westminster Cathedral; we could see its domed roof from our seventh floor room. Very basic facilities, and long overdue a renovation (ill-fitting window frames, curtain track balanced above with window rather than attached; it came down in my hand), holes in the curtains. Beds on the spartan side. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Scruffier than other student accommodation I've stayed in by some way, but clean and friendly.

Great location and even better price. University halls of residence so is quite well lived in, but clean and comfortable.

For somewhere to stay in central London, unbeatable value. Don't expect anything more than a room and you won't be disappointed. Could do with a few signs around the floors.

This is sparse student accommodation. No frills and quite noisy in the evening. But if you are prepared to put up with shared facilities and no radio or tv, then it's worth the Â£30 that you pay. In essence, you get what you pay for. Location is superb, which is what makes it worth it.

I thouht the hotel was in Pimlico but was in Victoria-so conveient. Inccreible value for the location. Wil definitely use Laterrooms again!! Thanks

Dark, tiny, draughty room with plastic mattress. Cheap, but not cheap enough.
