Checked in late and the chap on reception was a little grumpy. Room was fantastic and very comfortable. Lack of curtains or blind in the bathroom was a concern.Breakfast was excellent.

Woodlands was a lovely place to stay. We got an excellent rate for our room: £89 instead of the normal £139. Room was fairly basic for 5 star, but their was a jacuzzi bath and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight of the stay was the amazing Full Yorkshire Breakfast! The best cooked breakfast we have ever had! And lovely views out onto the gardens from the dining room. The parrot in reception was also a novelty. Well recommended.

the hotel was pretty easy to get to, and we arrived early at 12pm with the plan to leave the car and head off into leeds to do some shopping, were pleasantly surprised to be told we had been upgraded to a deluxe room and that it was all ready for us to check in. gorgeous room, plenty of space and lovely clean and fresh. spent a very relaxed hour in the bar afer the shopping trip. we were booked into the restraunt and although the food was very good it wasn't to our taste and when we go again we will probably eat out, the bar at night lacks atmosphere and again we will probably venture out on our next visit. yes there was a wedding and although the music was loud it was turned off at exactly midnight and i really don't think you can argue with that on a staurday night! a great hotel for a romantic night away we will definitly be going there again.

We love this hotel - this was our 3rd stay! On arrival we were immediateley upgraded into a Suite room which was huge! We had Sunday lunch which was lovely a little pricey but worth it! The hotel is always very clean, the custoemr service is top notch and the location is good fot the city and also to feel a little out of the way - with the nice grounds etc.Def go back again! I recommended this hotel to my friedn and she is now gettign married there next year!

I have stayed at the Woodlands Hotel three times and the service, cleanliness and quality of the food is second to none. We will be going back as soon as we can take another short break.

Excellent - highly recommendedVery, very good. The hotel was spotless, quite chic in decor. The room was good and teh bathroom was almost worth the money in itself! We would recommend this hotel highly.

Please note- according to the hotel manager, this hotel is not 5 star rated. They have opted out of being a star rated hotel. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean. The food is very much below that of a 3 star hotel. I would not recomend staying here due to the food and the attitude of the very arrogant manager. Stay well away.
