The Tarlton House of 1895 is one of the better known b&b's in North Texas. It has been in business since 1985 and listed in the National and Texas Historical Registeries. The 3-story Queen Anne Victorian home has seven coal fireplaces with hand-carved oak mantels and Italian tile trim. The 7000 sq. ft. home has 12 ft. ceilings and east Texas pine floors. The foyer's elegant pine paneled carved grand staircase, five stained-glass windows, all original in design, plus over 100 pieces of beveled glass in the oversized front door add to the beauty of the house. Guests enjoy the parlor, music room and the wrap-around front porch with rockers and a swing.
